Bottle: super deep & black, inky & oily pour with a mocha, slightly gray-tinted head that settles quite nicely. Aroma contains sweet smoke, coffee beans, roasted malt, & a light finish of caramel-y sweetness. Faint cocoa & dry oats, but the smokiness is fairly dominant. Taste is similar with a strong smoke-y flavor, lightly sweet, all the way through, Underneath lies some faint, roasted coffee beans, roasted malt, & a finish of bitter cocoa. Light undercurrent of sweetness, leading into a cocoa & smoky finish. Very nice brew, even though I wasn’t expecting all of the smoke. Luckily I like smoked beers.

Classic. Much coffee and as much body as can be expected from a stout with a relatively low amount of alcohol.

Kolor : Czarny z rubinowymi refleksami.
Piana : Czapowata, bardzo trwała i gęsta w kolorze écru. Formuje średnie i drobne oczka. Perfekcyjnie krążkuje. Do ostatniego łyka pozostawia ślady.
Zapach : Po otworzeniu butelki nawet nie musiałem przykładać jej do nosa żeby poczuć potężny aromat kawy. Rozprzestrzenił się on po całym pokoju. Tony ziarenek kawy , gorzka czekolada, słodkie toffi , crčme brulée. W kolejnych niuchach lekko dymiony i wędzony charakter.
Alkohol kompletnie niewyczuwalny. Eksplozja smaku!
Wysycenie : Niskie - idealne!
Podsumowanie:
To na bank najlepszy stout owsiany jaki piłem i jeden z lepszych stautów w kontekście ogólnym. Mikkeller to kultowy duński browar . Niektóre warki tego stouta warzone były w norweskim Nogne Ř. Perfekcyjny balans pomiędzy podstawą słodową, a goryczką. Isntny majstersztyk !

Bottle 33cl. Pitch black with a foamy brown head. Thick viscosity. Strong aroma of coffee, dark bitter chocolate. Flavour compliments the aroma. Long lasting finish where coffee is the most dominant. Nice bitterness, which makes this beer so nice to drink.

Drank with Bram at my room during Stukafest Nijmegen 02-02-2016. Okay beer, but a bit disappointing. Mainly coffee taste and quite thin beer. Not very special/comprehensive.

Nice smooth mocha / dark chocolatey aroma. Pours completely black, pretty lasting brown head. Taste in the beginning was very balanced between mocha and bittersweet dark chocolate. As it warms it becomes more chocolate sweet. Full body, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Nice coffee stout.

This is a great brew. Oats and a bit of coffee bitters and maybe smoke make this brew unique. For breakfast? Not quite sure about that but very enjoyable.

Arrived in a snifter. 3.25 A: Black color. Came with just the slightest medium brown head. 3.75 S: Big coffee - deep roast. Very raw malty, grainy. Resiny with herbal hops. 2.5 T: Overly roasty and charred. Lacking depth. Too dry with too much hop bitterness. 2.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lacking creaminess. 2.5 D: Overly bitter. No good. ★ 374 characters DavoleBomb, Jun 30, 2015

330 ml bottle into snifter, bottled on 9/7/2015. Pours nearly pitch black color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy tan head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted oats, dark bread, light nuttiness, herbal, pine, light smoke/char, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of roast/bready malt, coffee, and earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted oats, dark bread, light nuttiness, herbal, pine, light smoke/char, and roasted/toasted earthiness. Moderate pine and roast/char bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted oats, dark bread, light nuttiness, smoke, char, herbal, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, coffee, and earthy hop flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from hop/roast bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent American styled oatmeal stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, coffee, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Aroma of roasted, coffee and hints of chocolate. Taste is much the same but with dark fruits and caramel as well. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter.
