Milk chocolate and coffee aroma, more coffee and smoky aromas as it warms. Beautiful aroma. Dark and thick, coffee-crema head. Dark chocolate predominating, coffee on the finish and long hop bitter aftertaste. Extremely well balanced and coffee is not overwhelming, something I usually dislike quite a bit in coffee stouts. Medium carbonation and medium-thick body. Great beer.

Pours a dark black with a medium cocoa head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is smokey bacon and coffee. Taste is black coffee, chicory with a hint of smoke. A good beer for breakfast as the name suggests.

Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast is a hearty brew with the taste of oats. Aroma is sweet with a hint of smoke. Taste is malty with notes of oats, chocolate and coffee. The smoke is not real apparent in the beginning, but builds as the glass goes down -- very nice. Beer Geer Breakfast will have you wanting more at breakfast or any other time!

Bottle at home, 24th December 14. Pours elegant black, tan head, that dissipates. Aroma is complex, liquorice, coffee, chocolate, tar, raisins. Taste is smooth, luxurious, in harmony with a soft light carbonation, which is perfect. Coffee, liquorice, roasted malts, slight molasses. Excellent Stout, worthy of the status

Pours a deep brown, with little to no opacity. Quickly dissipating, caramel head with minimal lacing. Aroma is delicious french roast and the slightest hint of milk chocolate. Comes on strong with bitter dark roast and bacon burnt black. Moderately dry on the palate, and a very light mouthfeel with moderate to mid-plus carbonation. Back-to-back-to-back with FBS and Wake-N-Bake. Gotta give it to the WNB.
