3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is very complex; I was ready for that. It takes a few sniffs to get everything that is going on. Smells of oak, bourbon, light raisin, fig. Not as strong of a coffee aroma as one would expect. Dark chocolate undertones in the scent. Expensive dark chocolate, not artificial like in some beers. Some booze, not much. Black in color with a medium tan head. Leaves heavy lacing on the glass. Great looking stout. Taste is pleasant coffee, not overpowering. Hop bitterness comes through after the coffee. Flavor is not nearly as complex as the aroma. Surprisingly watery in texture - I was really expecting a richer palate. I can see why they say it goes well with breakfast. A stronger beer would be too much for the morning. Being that I never drink beer for breakfast, I really have no use for this. The palate is disappointing, it’s very expensive and the flavor doesn’t give you much besides coffee and hops. It’s not bad, but no way should it be 100 points. Perhaps I am biased because I like big, bold, rich stouts, and this is not one of those. For the price and reputation, I was expecting to be blown away. Right off the top of my head, I can think of 5 stouts I like better than this.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours jet black with off white head. Aroma is heavy coffee, some chocolate and dark fruits. Very balanced aroma even with all that coffee.
Taste is very smooth and oily. Coffee is what drives this stout and it does it wonderfully. Top class stout!
Bottle from Mikkellers webshop.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. Pours black with big dark brown head. Aroma of roasted and burnt malts, coffee and oats. Mostly coffee. Taste is dryish with oats and coffee, cacao. Palate is carbonated, dry and surprisingly a bit thin. The carbonation is sharp and strong and takes some flavour and body away (I think), it doesn’t work for me that well. Slight disappointment after Brunch weasel.

Old rating. All around solid stout. Strong black pour. Espresso, dark chocolate, roast, slightly chewy, full bodied and lightly sweet. Great.

bambam. Jedno z lepszych piw które piłem ale nie najlepsze. Mikkeller ma swój własny ryt dla stoutów - trzeba go polubić

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wygląd: Czarne całkowicie. Obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, brązowa, ciemna pina, trwała i lekko znaczy szkło.
Aromat: Miód, melasa, słodka czekolada, kawa rozpuszczalna, aromaty tostowe, przypiekane, aromaty sherry i śliwki suszonej.
Smak: W smaku zdecydowanie bardziej stout, mocno palone, aż lekko kwaskowe, espresso, czarna mocna kawa, gorzka czekolada.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pitch black with a huge dark brown head. Coffee, nuts, roasted malt, dark chocolate. A little bitter with a nice roasted coffee aftertaste. Light body, lively carbonation, long bitter finish.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
33cl bottle bought at cerveteca bar in Lisbon. It pours a pitch black colour with a large thick and creamy tan head that persists well. Aroma is sweet, coffee espresso, dark chocolate, milk, cereals from the oats and dark fruit. Taste is sweet from the brown sugar, roasted nuts, powerful dark chocolate, oats and other cereals, and a heavy milky chocolate feel. It has a medium to full body, with low carbonation and a bitter taste at the end that lingers for a while. Definitely one of, if not the best, regular stout that I ever tasted. Its flavour is not that complex compared to other stouts that I tried, but this stout was the one that I enjoyed the most.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Black pour with a thin tan head, low carbonation. Sweet, coffee and cocoa smell, coffee dominates but in a good way, not a shitty instant coffee way. Taste is milky coffee, again like a good coffee, sweetish, long coffee bitterness. Like this one a lot.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
What others have said but more dilute with more plain vhocolste and a medium soft roast. Nice looking black glossy beer with a rich glossy deep tan head.
