Last time I visited Copenhagen I got hold of a 660ml bottle at Barley Wine. The bottle was brought back to Tromsø and shared with some good friends at a drinking session.
Pours a black-as- coal body under a lasting, beige foamy head leaving great lacing on the glass. Rich hoppy aroma supported by black malty hints. Lots of dark chocolate malts in a complex roasty taste than also includes dark berries, ending up with a rich and lingering aftertaste of coffee. Perfect balanced. Moderate to full mouthfeel (23.02.2007).

Dark brown with red tint and tan head. Aroma is sweet, malty, choclate. Taste follows nose. Very creamy. Chasing a omelet style case role after a late breakfast. Nice.

Bottle. Black body, small brown head. Strong coffee aroma, cocoa, alcohol, roasted malt, raisin notes of vanilla. Flavour of coffee, cocoa, roasted malt, more coffee, alcohol warmth. Long coffee biter finish. Full body, low carbo. Stunning. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable, creamy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit, roast and coffee. Bitter, roasty and coffeelike flavour, with malty notes and touches of caramel and yeast. Roasty aftertaste with notes of coffee. Soft carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Well-balanced, not too strong and very enjoyable. A really good stout. Yummy. My Danish rating #1000 :-)

(Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 7.5% Black colour on the body, one finger of thick and creamy, dark brown head on top, with very good retention. Aroma has oats, liquorice, plenty of coffee, roasted malts, vanilla, light alcohol, even more coffee as it warms up. Taste mainly of coffee, lots of roasted malts too, nice dark bitter chocolate notes, with a nice bitterness on the finish and the aftertaste. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Very good.

Fat @ Cerveseria Arte&Sana, Malaga. Svart öl med ett rikt moccafärgat skum. Dofter av mörk choklad, kaffe och säd. Smakinslag av kaffe, soja, rostad malt och mörk choklad. Medel mot stor kropp, oljig munkänsla. Härlig sälta i avslutningen.

Piana drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa, beżowa, barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta. W aromacie świeżo palona kawa, kawa espresso, gorzka czekolada i palone ziarno. Głęboki, czysty i intensywny zapach. Rewelacyjne piwo, szlachetne, kremowe w ustach, świetnie zbalansowane i ułożone a przede wszystkim smaczne. RIS w wersji na lato.
