Nogle mener endda, at kaffen øger sexlysten!
En Imperial Oatmeal Stout brygget på: vand, malt, humle, gær og vietnamesisk ca phe chon kaffe.

Really good beer. I had been saving this for a couple of years and finally had an occasion to give it a try. Poured pitch black, with boozy/smokey/roasty/woodsy notes. Flavor was similar to the aroma profile. Nice and dry, nice booze, warming at the end.

Bottle 25 cl. Pours a thick, pitch black with very little head. Very low in carbonation. This pours an almost syrupy viscous. Lovely mellow wooden, oxidized aroma blending in perfectly with sweet vanillaish roast and a subtle coffee note. Ends warming but never boozy. A lovely sipper. 030414

I really do love apple brandy stouts. Why does this work so well?? Rich roasty, nutty, oaky, brandy, chocolate, dark fruits, raisin. So smooth and velvety.

Pours an opaque black with a small brown ring. Aroma is full and complex brandi, chocolate, light roasted malts and latte/mocha. Taste is brandi, chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and a nice well balancing bitterness and alcohol warmth. Nice full bodied and creamy texture round out this great beer... Perfect to pair with pancakes for breakfast.

Pours an opaque black with no head. Aroma is sweet apple brandy, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some faint oak like notes, and a touch of licorice. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, faint alcohol, dark dried fruits, and a nice velvety mouth feel.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 Tiny ass 250 bottle courtesy of Bobby Dale. Bitter euro stout malt. Has some sweet and boozy in the nose. Tastes is a sweet and bitter very dark stout. Has some apple brandy sweetness but not bet overpowering. Had this next to the cognac weasel and this was much better and retained a lot more of the barrel.

Pours black with an espresso brown head that dissipates. The foam ends up sticking to my glass. The aroma is full of noticeable semi sweet brandy with mild to medium coffee scents, rich chocolaty notes, and there is a defined aroma of sweet roasty malts. In tasting I picked up on pleasant sweet booze from the brandy, bitter cocoa, weak possible coffee flavor, medium roasted malts, with the addition of sweet crystal malts, and lastly there is a mild rauch like taste. The finish is short but dominated by the boozy dryness with sweet undertones of malts and bitter chocolate. Overall what a great beverage this is. The only thing I?m not crazy about was the intimidating booze character and yet to my surprise it did not impact my palate much. Still nonetheless this is on beverage to sip and a great one to try.
