Nogle mener endda, at kaffen øger sexlysten!

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Viscous smooth palate, a little dry. Rich malt - chocolate and a little coffee. Aniseed alcohol with subtle apple liquer on the spicy finish. The aftertaste is slightly smoky malt. A robust strong beer, could possibly do with more time but pretty good now!

bottle at The Danish Invasion tasting ...Dark black ... dark roast ... heavy malts ... sweet toffee nose ... heavy malts ... sweet dark roast ... heavy alcohol... meaty .... not sweet enough ... id hope for more calvados to show through in a light sweetness ... decent but not stunning

Bottle at Fairbar, Århus
Total black color, with brown creamy head. Creamy aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, cardboard, some spirit, leather, light star anise.
Very smooth mouthfeel, and full body; strong flavor of roasted malts, chocolate, exotic coffee, cream, ashes, liquorice; there is a trace of tar; the Calvados cask unfortunately adds a feeling of alcohol, phenol, star anise (Pastis)…
Powerful, but confused-boozy-coffee-chocolate Imperial Stout.
