4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Oil black pour with a brown head. Aroma is thick dark chocolate, roasted coffee, dark malt, a bit boozy. Flavor is more of the same. Creamy dark chocolate, just the right amount of bitterness and roast from the coffee. The Calvados adds a really excellent layer of complexity and depth. Amazing beer.

The calvados on the aroma isnt my favourite. Black with small head. Taste and palate is unbeliavable smooth and nice. Not the strongest and not the most unique, but extremely balanced.

Delt 0,25 l flaske. Svart kropp med et brun film. Fataromaen dominerer nesa. Masse calvadosnoter men også salte, oksiderte og røstede toner også. Sjokolade, vanilje, og masse fatpreg i munnen. Skikkelig boozy. Søt og røstet. Flat, kraftig og myk.

Pretty strong stuff. Color was very black and foreboding. Palate was thick and oily. Aroma was burnt malt, whiskey and oak. Flavors were roasted malt, wood, whiskey and hops for balance. A sipper and not for everyone.
