Nogle mener endda, at kaffen øger sexlysten!
En Imperial Oatmeal Stout brygget på: vand, malt, humle, gær og vietnamesisk ca phe chon kaffe.

Oil black pour with a brown head. Aroma is thick dark chocolate, roasted coffee, dark malt, a bit boozy. Flavor is more of the same. Creamy dark chocolate, just the right amount of bitterness and roast from the coffee. The Calvados adds a really excellent layer of complexity and depth. Amazing beer.

Dark brown beer, small tan head. Nose is coffee, cacao beans, fruit and roasty notes, booze, caramel, calvados. Flavor is thick roasty, fruity, apple sourness, caramel, warm boozy finish. Lingering dark chocolate and roast, dark malt. Big and complex, not much cognac though.

Pretty strong stuff. Color was very black and foreboding. Palate was thick and oily. Aroma was burnt malt, whiskey and oak. Flavors were roasted malt, wood, whiskey and hops for balance. A sipper and not for everyone.

Pitch black, tan dissipating head. Aroma of roasted malts, vanilla, booze, light apple, calvados, red fruits, cherry, pear, lots of coffee. Creamy, boozy flavour, sweet caramel, smooth mocha, cacao. Quite thick and creamy. Finish coffee, malts, apple, calvados, lingering liquorice. Smooth, drinkable, yet intense. Brilliant!

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 3 Oct 2014) Black colour with brief head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, cacao, liquorice, oak wood and mild hints of calvados. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, liquorice, salmiak, cacao, soy sauce, oak wood and gentle flavours of calvados. Full body, with a touch of sweetness, but actually drier than expected. Generous coffee bitterness. Exceptionally well balanced, with the calvados barrel evident but never becoming too much. Lovely beer!

I’m not entirely sure I prefer the Calvados aging here. Has some light brandy tang. Still lots of roast. Pours black with good head and lacing. Dark chocolate and big coffee. Fairly bitter finish. Bottle pour from Churchkey’s 5th anniversary.

"Another frikkin awesome beer with the weasel poo!!! I’m SO glad they started giving Brunch Weasel (one of my favorites) the various barrel treatments. they aren’t better, per se, than the base, but gives me more reasons to drink this, and they have all been epic so far. i wouldnt have thought apple brandy and imperial coffee stout would be so good together, but i was wrong. sweet, luscious, decadent...just enough roast and bitter to balance. wonderful beer in every way!
