Brewed by Mikkeller at Nøgne Ø, Norway.
This imperial Oatmeal stout is brewed with one of the world’s most expensive coffees, made from droppings of weasel-like civetcats. The fussy Southeast Asian animals only eat the best and ripest coffee berries.Enzymes in their digestive system help to break down the bean. Workers collect the bean-containing droppings for Civet or Weasel Coffee. The exceedingly rare Civet Coffee has a strong taste and an even stronger aroma.
Ingredients : Water, malts, hops, yeast and Vietnamese ca phe chon coffee.

Pours thick black with a dark brown head. Heavy coffee on the nose, laced with dark chocolate. Thick creamy mouthfeel, aroma of coffee and chocolate. The coffee aroma is unique, sort of sweet. Not to cite Borat, but VERY NICE, HOW MUCH.

12oz bottle into Le Snifter - sludgy pour towards the end. Nose is dark chocolate. Sip adds roast and lactose qualities. Very rich in coffee. Smooth and get has a big body. ABV is well hidden. Very bitter in the dark cocoa department. Dry. Coffee to the max; I get it, but not top 50 get it.

Pours a luscious black with a thick, creamy brown head. The nose is divine! Dark chocolate, heady coffee, dark roasted grains, notes of anise (or was it anus?). :) Taste bears espresso-like bitterness on a huge malty foundation. Full body, soft carbonation. Long, mocha finish. Excellent brew! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At B&F in Rome. Many thanks luttonm for the suggestion. Deep oily black, with a consistent brown foam. Nose: licorice, coffee, berries! Mouth is very complex: coffee dominates! Dates, smoked feel, dry fruit! Cool stuff! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Spending bottle that I picked up at Casanova. I had had the Cognac variant before and this is a stellar brew. We need Mikkeller back in MN!

bottle shared by VT, thanks bro! pours oily black with a small dark beige head, some retention and lacing. black pepper, booze, rich strong coffee, demerara and molasses, slightly perfumey, some red berries seep through, licorice, smoke, almost tannic woodsiness, dust and metal. moderate carbonation, medium to full body - oily and sticky, bold if not harsh boozy-bitter coffee-resinous finish. perfumey alcohol. aromatic coffee and resins.

On tap at Max’s in Baltimore. Like eating a delicious pile of ashes, that finishes with lovely chocolatey coffee.

Vanilla and choclate taste. Massive beer obviously. Dulled down by many IPA before it. Creamy. Full thick body. Just like your mom. I like it.

Black with medium brown head. Sweet coffee, berries, roasted malts, marzipan, chocolate pudding. Medium seet, syrupy going into a tart middle with a big roasted or raw cocoa bitterness. Full bodied with slight sticky feel. Nice stuff.
