COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly brewed by Mikkeller at Nøgne Ø, Norway, now at Lervig, Norway.
This imperial Oatmeal stout is brewed with one of the world’s most expensive coffees, made from droppings of weasel-like civetcats. The fussy Southeast Asian animals only eat the best and ripest coffee berries.Enzymes in their digestive system help to break down the bean. Workers collect the bean-containing droppings for Civet or Weasel Coffee. The exceedingly rare Civet Coffee has a strong taste and an even stronger aroma.
Ingredients : Water, malts, hops, yeast and Vietnamese ca phe chon coffee.

Been holding out on opening this for a while, so I decided to share it for Monday night’s #CraftBeerChat on Twitter. body is an opaque black, with a thick foamy/rocky tall burnt umber colored head. the aroma is nothing short of fantastic, mildly roasted coffee, dark chocolate bars, roasty malts, a little vanilla, mild licorice candy. Flavor is a wee salty, with nice bitter earthy roasted/burnt coffee malt, some anise/licorice liqueur flavor, and dry high cacao% chocolate. a little charred oak and blackstrap molasses in the finish, with some mild leafy bitter hop and coffee aftertatse. great brew, lives up to the hype. Special thanks to my twitter friends to share the review in real-time! @jimbinder @ChicagoDiane @arikhanson @steveschoon @jeffmello #CraftBeerChat

Bottle into a snifter. Pours a beautiful deep brown with a lasting caramel head. Love the coffee flavor, not too strong and not bitter. Almost a sweetness to the nose with a very pleasant finish, looking forward to enjoying this beer again next year. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Butelka 0.33L.
Wygląd: Zupełnie czarne, obfita, ciemno brązowa piana, duże pęcherzyki i syczy. Szybo znika całkowicie.
Aromat: Espresso, gorzka czekolada, stęchlizna i lekki alkohol.
Odczucie: Pełne-, wysycenie niskie+, lekko gryzące
Smak: Czekolada, wiśnie, kawa i likier kawowy

Strong bitter coffee aroma with slight chocolate mixed in too. Very dark brown color with not much head or lacing. Taste is of oatmeal, some vanilla, and coffee. Pretty thick mouthfeel with nice earthy bitter finish. Very well done stout!

Chocolate, coffee, a bit smokey flavor. Really thick oily character. Fresh a bit raw - but after a few months in bottle its velvety smooth. Hands down one of the best beers i have ever tried.

Tasted from draft at Hunahpu Day. Pours black with a dark brown head. Coffee and dark chocolate aroma is huge. Taste is incredible. Great coffee flavor throughout with dark chocolate and a little vanilla. Very smooth hiding the alcohol extremely well. Nice thick and oily mouthfeel. I've head several of the famous imperial stouts but I think this may be my favorite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

drunk in beergeek with cam before going to see crowbar. this is what started our night. pours darkest brown, hardly any head. its slick and oily, no fizz. aroma of deep roasty coffee. taste is coffee, chocolate malt, slightly hoppy, moving to more bitter choco. traces of vanilla in there. like the other beergeek range it doesnt feel too heavy duty so i could pound it pretty quick. shit was deliciousssss

Inky black pour with a wee khaki head. Lovely nose with oats and chocolate and earthy roasty coffee and a soft yet strong mellowness. Lovely flavor with a black sweetness, some dark chocolate, a smooth finish, with some nice subtle yet balanced coffee notes throughout. Really somethin. A bit pricey, but with a well hidden booze behind some semisweet dark chocolate and a kiss of coffee, its somethin.

Bottle at the Syb Pig in Boca Raton. Pours a very deep black with a frothy mocha head. Powerful breakfast aromas of coffee, burnt malts, dark breads, graham cracker, vanilla. The taste is dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla cream, slightly sweet milk, and dark fruits. Delicious finish of bitter coffee and roasted malts with some sweetness. The full body and thick mouth are on par for the style. Very very good.
