12 oz bottle pours black with a light brown head. Aroma was coffee, with some vanilla, and molasses. Tasted great, hit upfront with some coffee bitterness, which gives way to some lighter vanilla and cream flavors.

Probably the best thing I’ve tasted that came from a weasel’s ass. Truly superb. The coffee, dark chocolate and oatmeal come together with superb precision here. Caramel and cream, coffee and toasty, crisp malt. Finishes bitter with notes of sweetness. Pours black with great head and lacing. Some residual sweetness as well. Tap at Churchkey.

Draft at ChurchKey poured into a tasting snifter. Pours black with just a sliver of tan head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee. Tasting notes of caramel, dark chocolate, roast, bitter and roasted coffee, vanilla. Full body with a dry and bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation. Very smooth for the ABV. This and the Vanilla Shake are probably my top two favorites of the Beer Geek brews.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Pours a deep brownish black from the bottle with a foamy brown head that last some time. Lots of lacing. The aroma is of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits. It tastes exactly as it smells: coffee, chocolate, plum and raisins. It’s really boozy and nicely bitter. Oily mouth. This is both complex and straightforward, and a great coffee stout.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Pours black with a foamy brown head leaving alittle lacing, and aroma of roast malt, oats, fruity hop, coffee. Taste is sweetish roasted malt, toffee, dark fruits, hoppy, chocolate & dark coffee, with some lingering earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, soft carbonation, warming bitter finish. Very drinkable indeed!

Bottle @ home. Aroma: Roasty, hints of undifined sour flowery notes, hookah, liquorishy, some spices. Apperance: Pours crued oil black, small short brown head. Taste: Rich roasted notes, liquorish, smoke, hookah, bitter like chocolate, bitter like coffee. Palate: thick oily feel. Overall: I might be colored by the former ratings - but its one of the most interesting stout-tastings I had, a lot of new tastes - not a every day beer (maybe not even monthy) But if you like to try new - this is!
