4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ACD (379) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUN 18, 2013
33cl bottle from Mikkeller & Friends (brewed at Lervig). Motor oil black pour with thick bubbly mocha head - loads of lacing. Looks decadent. Lots of coffee in the aroma - very green, pungent coffee though - ripe dark fruit, really dark chocolate, heavy roastedness, light vanilla. Taste explodes with dark chocolate, that same intense green coffee note (can’t put my finger on it, obviously that’s weasel shit coffee for you), deep roasted notes, some vanilla, spruce, some dark berry. Full mouthfeel - silky and viscous. Big, big flavours going on here - all so well balanced (except for that crazy green coffee note which sticks out). No hint of the booze at all. Lingering coffee, chocolate, and light licorice notes. A great brew, incredibly interesting with the coffee character - don’t age it, drink it ASAP and check it out.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 oppear (30) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 16, 2013
Color black, was unable to pour a top. Taste of roast, tar, rubber, chocolate, all the black bits and the sweet side of the coffee soon takes hold. The skunky coffee-feel overpoweres toward the very last mouthfuls and the idea of its origin becomes clear. Still a pleasant experience and worth another bottle.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 thirstyrabbit (740) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 15, 2013
330 ml bottle with a new label, brewed at Lervig. Deep dark brown body with a small tan head. Smells like coffee and luxury. Very smooth and oily mouthfeel. Rich and decadent taste of coffee and deep roast. The alcohol is lost in this rich mixture of tastes, only its warmth remains. Great, splendid!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 haukur (1019) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - JUN 5, 2013
Lervig version. Very oat-y aroma, some coffee and chocolate. Huge malt present. Maybe some tiny hints of maple? Black, brown head, looks beautiful as the style should. Full bodied, there is lots and lots of roast and bitterness in the finish. Extreme oats again. Very good imperial stout, maybe a tad young, could use a bit more sweetness to balance the bitter finish. Very good imperial stout by the coolest man alive.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 CitizenMeow (18) - Linköping, SWEDEN - JUN 5, 2013
Pours pitch black, very small tan head, looks like coffee. Huge coffee aroma, dark chocolate and cacao, some sweet malt notes, some cereal. Amazing flavour, again huge coffee notes, thick bodied and medium carbonated. Does not have a lot of malt presence, the coffee really covers everything else up, but its good.
