Brewed by Mikkeller at Nøgne Ø, Norway.
This imperial Oatmeal stout is brewed with one of the world’s most expensive coffees, made from droppings of weasel-like civetcats. The fussy Southeast Asian animals only eat the best and ripest coffee berries.Enzymes in their digestive system help to break down the bean. Workers collect the bean-containing droppings for Civet or Weasel Coffee. The exceedingly rare Civet Coffee has a strong taste and an even stronger aroma.
Ingredients : Water, malts, hops, yeast and Vietnamese ca phe chon coffee.

500mL bottle from Perry’s Liquors for $17.99--that place is way too effing expensive--I don’t think I’ll go back. Clear deep deep mahogany--black in the glass--with a big ass tan head. Lots of roasted malts, coffee, and unsweetened cocoa up front in the aroma. There is also a light caramel/vanilla sweetness. Some tar and pine sap are behind. Was this supposed to be hoppy? Letting it warm up a little bit I can get the oatmeal and some dark chocolate. I go into these highly rated beers wanted to hate them, but damn, so far this is great. The flavor adds the right amount of alcohol and a little soy, but otherwise, much the same--there may be a little bit of smokiness, but I wouldn’t go as far to say campfire. The finish is semi-dry with bitterness at a 4. Big full slick body with light carbonation. Quite the tasty beer, but I don’t need to spend 20 bucks (with tax) on it again. My other bottle is coming back to Iowa.

Deep dark bottle pour, seriously complex stuff-- waves of flavor and a long finish-- seriously rich coffee, cocoa... rich, smooth, and delicious, Worth the price.

Had it on tap at Mikkeller Vesterbro. Probably the best coffee stout I have had, though pretty close with the Stone espresso one which I have only had i a bottle. Great flavors that evolve, a lot of alcohol and with a delicious coffee taste. Just gets better and better.

Pours out with the tenaciousness of motor oil. Has a aroma of coffee chocolate and alcohol. A creamy palate that is followed by a beautifully complex flavor profile. Rich coffee and malt toasted to perfection. A hint of carbon and a texture of melted marshmallow with the tiniest of bubbles. It coats the mouth and glass with it sweet and bitter lace. If there was such thing as a perfect beer this would be the closest I have tasted ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Tints the glass copper head. Aroma of raisins, dried apricot, coffee, light citrus hop. Bitter sweet chocolate taste with a dry bitter dark chocolate long lingering finish. Almost no booze at all. The toasted malts and the coffee are balanced very well in this beer where they really compliment each other more than dominant one way or another. This is a highly complex beer that is exceptionally well balanced. Mmmmmmm.

Imprescindible repetir, gran gran imperial stout.

Aroma is acidic coffee which is really nice. Body is medium to full. Acidity f coffee makes it good, but takes away from the body a bit. Good beer, not thick enough for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
