This imperial Oatmeal stout is brewed with one of the worldís most expensive coffees, made from droppings of weasel-like civetcats. The fussy Southeast Asian animals only eat the best and ripest coffee berries.Enzymes in their digestive system help to break down the bean. Workers collect the bean-containing droppings for Civet or Weasel Coffee. The exceedingly rare Civet Coffee has a strong taste and an even stronger aroma.
Ingredients : Water, malts, hops, yeast and Vietnamese ca phe chon coffee.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2012 14.99 1pt .9fl oz bottle ordered from internet. Pours a dark caramel color with very little head. The aromas donít come off as your average coffee stout. There is more of an acidic quality here. Theres burnt malts malts, strong coffee, molasses, wood, chocolate, and sweet caramel under the other malts. Flavors of burnt malts, cocoa, coffee (which is not that strong here like in the nose ), and just a poof of hops underneath. Medium acidity, highly bitter with a sting of a bitter finish that lingers for quite some time, medium sweet, and a velvety texture. The special coffee used doesnít add any more special flavors then most other coffee stout except it seems to be more bitter/ acidic and leave that bitter bite on the palate. A very good stout but a little over rated. Would not buy again because of the rarety and price but glad I did get a bottle to sample. A rare treat indeed. Now at least I can say Iíve tried some of the rarest coffee in the world. I just wonít mention where or rather from what it comes from....

I remember that last day of the 2014. We went to buy some nice beers. It was my first Mikkeller experience. WHAT A TRIP! I hade to share this with a friend and his father. We ended up stealing each other the last drop. A beer anthem! Later I noticed the most peculiar characteristic of this beer. Its made of weasel shit! The funny thing is that an exotic weasel is Vietnamese, and it eats the coffee beans to shit a variety called cŗ phÍ Chồn. One of the best coffees of the world. Mikeller Brunch weasel its PURE CHOCOLATED ROASTED COFFEE. A superior taste and palate. Perfect, dense and permanent body. Try it bro!

Eleven dollar 11.2 oz bottle to snifter. Black, oily pour, thin tan head. Aroma of booze and coffee. Taste dominated by mostly coffee with medium carbonation. Bittersweet with some vanilla, roasted coffee and a good amount of booze coming through as it sits. Smooth, tasty and very satisfying.

Bottle - Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose is lots of coffee, roasty, chocolate. Taste is more coffee, creamy, roasty, dark chocolate. Itís very rich.

On tap at Ol & Brod, Copenhagen. Black with thick tanned head. Smell is heavy coffee and roasted malt. Taste is roasted malt and coffee and chocoalte. Semi dry with medium bitterness and low carbonation. Big body.

Bottle, 330 ml from Svijet Piva, Zagreb. pours dark brown with lasting creamy brownish head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some fruit. Sweet and bitter. Full bodied.

500 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a deep brown, almost black, with a one-finger brown head. Looks rich and viscous. Aroma of roasted malts and rich chocolate. Not so much coffee, really, which surprised me. The taste is very chocolatey as well, but with a prevalent coffee taste. The coffee isnít overwhelming at all. It allows the stout flavors to come through. There is a lingering bitterness that prevents the sweetness from becoming cloying. Great consistency. Medium carbonation. Par for the style. The mouthfeel is thick enough to feel like an imperial stout, but not so much that I couldnít put it away like nothing. High quality beer.

Very solid beer but to be honest, Iím mystified at the very high rating. Donít get me wrong, itís a very good beer and while solid all-around, is not particularly special. Slight coffee aroma, with dark our. Medium head, died down pretty quick. Good coffee stout taste but Iíve had several better. Nice consistency, not thin.
