Bottle, been waiting for this one. Pours a darkish brown black pour with a mocha airy head. Nose is straight up roasted coffee. Taste is roasted malt with a strong bitter coffee taste. Warms the palate nicely and finishes on the strong bitter coffee notes. A must try. Quaff Score 8/ 10

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
So ready for this bad boy. Pours pitch black with a medium sized brown head. The head dissipates quickly but leaves a ton of bubbles of uneven size. The aroma has tons of coffee, chocolate, some vanilla notes, and some cocoa sweetness. The taste is bitter chocolate and has the most incredible coffee flavor. True coffee ground flavor and a big bitter bean finish. Incredible texture that just dominates the palate. I think this is the best stout Iíve ever had.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours beautifully black as night. Very thin dark brown head just kisses the top of the pour. Fantastic coffee aroma on the nose as well as a deep roasted small, almost like an oak aged beer. Oatmeal give the beer an amazingly smooth mouthfeel. Deep roasted coffee flavor. Very bitter on the initial sip as fresh brewed coffee and coffee grounds grab the tounge. Slightly sweet caramel notes run down the center on the tounge leading to a wonderfully dry finnish.

2013 bottle from Mari's. Pours a inky black with a brown head that quickly fades. Aroma of chocolate and coffee and alcohol. The taste has some sweetness at the front then coffee bitterness then alcohol heat. Pretty good but not a top 50 as it currently stands.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours pitch black producing a large, somewhat fluffy looking, dark tanned head. Aroma is rich, roasted coffee beans with liquorice, tar, leather and roasted malts. Taste is heavy coffee and chocolate. Bitter at first, then subtly sweet into bitter again towards the aftertaste. Full bodied with a medium level of carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Awesome coffee and chocolate malt nose. Dark black pour with a very slight tan head. Strong coffee bitterness with some hits of chocolate bitterness as well. Flavorful and nice to drink, but more bitterness than I like in my big dark beers.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Inky black pour with dark mocha head. Roasty, bitter coffee aroma with a little punch of booze. A fascinating, bizarre sweetness on the tongue. Sweet coffee, smoky wood. A chocolate heaviness creeps in as she opens up. More and more enjoyable with each warming minute. Well hidden alcohol. Slick, dry bitter finish. Really nice beer.
