COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the beer geek breakfast series Ė the beer that really put Mikkeller on the map, we decided to shake things up by adding a truck load of vanilla to the french press coffee trick, creating a whole new dimension to the beer that are loved by freaks and geeks worldwide. Not only that, we then placed it in bourbon barrels for 8 months for a truly unique beer experience. Itís dark, dangerous, sweet and incredibly tasty as you would expect, but most of all; itís ready to conquer your breakfast table routines. Please note: The label is the same as the regular version. This one comes with a limited edition yellow wax.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Mark! Completely black oil, super thick looking with nearly no head, only a modest, thin, tan ring after an aggressive pour. Aroma is insane... Holy shit... Thick brown sugar, chocolate brownie batter topped with huge, sweet vanilla drizzle, notes of coffee cake, fudge-y morsels, burnt toffee, oatmeal cookies, maple syrup, & a super-smooth undercurrent of mild bourbon & wood. I could smell this for days. Taste is a total dessert beer... Vanilla frosted chocolate cake, more notes of oatmeal cookies with a dense, sweet coffee bean finish. Cocoa nibs, sticky maple, marshmallow fluff, extremely smooth/tame bourbon & light tannins, & just a kiss of dark fruit in the finish. Sticky mouth coating aftertaste, lingering notes of toffee, brown sugar, creamy coffee, vanilla... I could go on for days. Lovely mouth feel; oily, smooth, low carbonation, slightly sticky. This was one expensive bottle, but in my opinion, very worth it. Wonderfully complex, perfect sweetness without ever being cumbersome... Incredible beer.

Rating no. 400! 33 cl bottle. Pours pitch Black with almost no head. Aroma.. Oh jeez.. The milk chocolate. The vanilla. The bourbon. "Kinderśg". Slight roast, but i Almost canít tell that itís beer. Taste has more roast, but again this sweet vanilla, coconut, almost no alcohol, cinnamon, slight licorice and salt, huge milk- and White chocolate. So much candy. Kids would love this. Sticky and low carb. Oh Lord! For an European stout, this is so flavorfull and smooth. crazy good! Only thing that pulls Down is appearance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mortlach (970) - Rome, ITALY - OCT 18, 2014
On tap @ Ma che siete venuti a fŗ. Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma leggera, abbastanza persistente.

Jesterdeal (1923) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - OCT 14, 2014
Bottle shared by Dave with epic. Aroma is dark vanilla bean, coffee, and thick molasses. Pours black with a very feint dark brown lacing. Taste is vanilla beans, oak, molasses, bourbon and a roasty dark chocolate finish. Syruppy mouthfeel helps keeps these delicious tastes in my mouth. Truly a beer worth savoring.

Pour is viscus black with a very small off-white head that fades into a ring quickly. Aroma is extremely sweet - vanilla extract, oak, dark caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, and slight booze. Flavor is slight bourbon heat at first and transitions into a vanilla and chocolate finish. Alcohol is fairly well hidden considering its strength.

Bottle shared as a post-Borefts 2014 road soda. Pours new black with a beige head. Aroma of vanilla, bourbon, wood chocolate, fudge, liquorice (but thankfully a lot less than the regular vanilla shake) and a little coffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
