Black pour from 12oz bottle, super thick with brown head. Crazy vanilla flavor. Thick and oily. I’ve had this once now and had Goose Vanilla Rye once, and would love to try them next to each other, so similar in my mind. Whatever it is - it is fantastic. A marshmallow creamy heaven.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Wygląd: Czarne całkowicie. Obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, brązowa, ciemna pina, trwała i lekko znaczy szkło.
Aromat: Likier kawowy, melasa, wanilia, wiśnie, czekolada (wiśnie w czekoladzie), całość intensywna, słodka, ułożona. Pachnie prawie jak beer geek breakfast, wanilia i mniej miodowych nut. Również porter bałtycki przypomina. Przy zamieszaniu trochę landrynki.
Odczucie: Gładkie, gęste, oleiste, pełne z niskim wysyceniem.
Smak: Likier czekoladowy, kawowy, raczki, paloność intensywna, chlebowość, nuty opiekane, wiśnie, śliwki. Spora goryczka palono-ziołowa.
Całość: Świetne, gęste, intensywne złożone.

Inky thick black pour with a lushious light khaki dense foamy/creamy head. Stupendous aroma--loads of sweet milk chocolate and coffee and slightly bourbonny/boozy vanilla, with a playful touch of morning oatmeal. Amazing body with a smooth but gigantic palate--a touch sticky but somehow not so cloying---it’s like melted ice cream. Quite thick but goes down amazingly well. With sumptuous flavors of coffee, milk chocolate, bourbonny vanilla, a touch of booze warmth on the finish, more cocoa, earthy sweet chocolate, a touch more vanilla and a finishing whisper of vanilla-flavored coffee...wow. So damn good, but ironically, I enjoy just smelling it. It’s definitely a sipper so you can enjoy the aroma all you desire.

Tap at Mikkeller bar in Stockholm, 16th March 15. Like the addition on the vanilla, this is super smooth and drinkable for the ABV. Clean and delicious

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours absolutely pitch black, with a short-lived brown head.
Compact, roasted aroma, loads of vanilla, coffee beans, licorice, tar, dark chocolate, oat bisquits, honey, caramel.
Semi-sweet, full bodied (and beyond), mid to high bitterness, quite low CO2.
Rich, compact taste, roasted malt, vanilla, marshmallows, caramel, coffee, licorice, tar, faintly hoppy, faint smoke, chocolate, oat, chestnut.
Quite impressive, almost too intense, would be interesting to see what a few years in the cellar would do to this one. The finish is very long, and dries out nicely. (2015-03-15)

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Mikkeller online shop. First and only beer of the night, so very overwhelming aroma with coffee, chocolate, vanilla and a very strong alcohol presence. Pours dark and thick with almost no head. The taste is slightly bitter coffee and chocolate with a lot of vanilla. Again the alcohol is very noticeable. Finish had a sharpness from the alcohol and a long lingering bitterness. Less sweet than expected. Good, but a bottle is a lot for one person.

On tap at Mikkeller bangkok. One of the best stouts ever produced by the maestro. Aroma that can keep you under its spell for days.sweet vanilla and chocolate with coffee smell. Taste if coffee first with lots of vanilla sweetness. No trace of booze at all. amazingly well balanced. Definitely one of the best sweet stouts to have been created.
