Almost black and almost no head, just a tiny 1 mm dark brown head when i poured it hard. Aroma of berries, milk chocolate, really dark coffee, tobacco and caramel. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, bitter coffee. Just a little bit sweet, ends somewhat dry and bitter. Sticky and thick texture.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2015 Thick black body, large sticky head. Sticky is the general word that applies here, with dark sugar, dough, chocolate, vanilla, cookie, brownie, sweet cream. Great amount of flavours, although sweetness sticks out. Dessert beer. No, it?s desserts by itself. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

12 oz bottle I got in a trade off of Facebook, big thanks to Mr. Antonio Castillo. The pour is dark and oily black with a finger of dark mocha head and no lace some great lacing. The aroma is something else. It smells like a boozy vanilla coffee shake. The roast is beautiful and the vanilla is a little reserved but the coffee is there, a great sweetness on the back end from the vanilla. I wish it smelled a little more vanilla-ish. There is a decent booze on the back end. The flavor is unbelievable. Lots of vanilla, tons of coffee, a beautiful roast, little bitterness from licorice. The booze isn’t detectable. The mouth feel is thick, chewy, with a soft velvety carbonation that is great. The aftertaste is lingeringly coffee and vanilla with a bitter roast. Damn good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is vanilla bomb, booze, coffee, creme brulee, nice. Appearance is black, brown head, great thick pour, looks great. Taste is vanilla, coffee, roasted malt, lactose, mellow for 13%. Mouthfeel is wonderful, great carbonation, thick, oily, viscous. Overall, it’s unbelievable.

Pitch black, small brown head. Lots of vanilla and cocoa, bit boozy. Taste is again vanilla and cocoa bomb, some cocoa bitterness and sweetness. Full body, thick and oily, flat carbonation. Marvelous.

Bottle (330 ml) bought @ Craft Beer Cellar Waterbury. Split 2-ways with Minderbinder.

Appearance: Pitch black with a small white head, medium retention, some lacing and little alcohol legs.

Aroma: A ton of vanilla (really intense) and quite a lot of coffee along chocolate notes, light fruitiness and hints of alcohol.

Taste: Really sweet with loads of vanilla, a lot of coffee as well, light frutiness, chocolate, alcohol, hazelnuts, alcohol and caramel.

Palate: Full body. Moderate carbonation. Oily and rather thick mouthfeel. Lingering sweet finish with a bit of alcohol warmth.

Overall: It’s really tasty and it definitely lives up to the name and showcase the vanilla but it’s really sweet and rather cloying (it wasn’t easy to drink half the bottle). Flavorful, but a bit unbalanced. Good stuff!

Clear, chocolate brown-black with a tan head. Aromas of light smokey solid vanilla, milk chocolate, milk coffee and caramelised dates develop. Light lively, surprisingly light slick qnd full bodied. Roast malt, sweet vanilla coffee shake with light smokey astringency. Lasting finish. Excellently balanced!

Butelka, warka... gdzie oni date waznosci pisza? Niskie wysycenie. Pelne, oleiste w ustach. Klasa piwo, jedyne wady to czasami gdzies sie blaajacy rozpuszczalnik i moze zbyt odczuwalny w smaku alkohol.

Does not get any better! Very full bodied, low carbonation, vanilla and coffee brought to amazing heights. Complex, continuingly challenging beer.
