Incedible Vanilla aroma, also some spice, liqurice, sweetness. Really pleasant! Taste is a bit unbalanced, to sweet. But still really good!

Bottle. Pours black with brown colored head that clings to the edges. Cocoa aroma over mild carbonation. Nice mouthfeel and chocolate start with vanilla finish. Nice bitter chocolate taste with a bit of boozyness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Many thanks to MrOrla for the bottle. Pours a motor oil black color, with a decent froth, dark brown head. Smells of fudge, roasted coffee, bakers chocolate and cocoa nibs among a slightly floral, wooden vanilla note. Evokes a desert like, rich impression, without turning particular sweet. Lovely, well integrated vanilla aromas top off the viscous, toffeeish roastiness, with a decent chocolate depth. Begins with bready, slighty bitter coffee, paired with with smooth, thick, warming milk chocolate, creating a very pleasant mouthfeel. Turns sweeter, with fudge and caramel, adding to the chocolate, while inviting a gentle amount of vanilla to the palate. Drinks like chocolate mousse, with bitter, scorched coffee admidst ornate vanilla, creating a full, sweeter mouthfeel. The coffee becomes more present with vanilla being recognizable, providing a dry note to the palate as a fitting counterpart to the convincing sweetness, very well balanced beer. Despite the full body of the beer, it maintaines a certain, lovely ease, due to the vanilla. Has a slightly boozy heat to it during the finish, which profoundly gets wrapped up by chocolate, cane sugar and nougat. Vanilla fades during the finish, while the beer turns quite sweet, while continously drinking smooth, with earth and molasses, as well as some slightly tamed coffee.

Pitch black. Nose is vanilla, lactose, chocolate, a touch of coffee, also somewhat vegetal. Less veggies and more bitter coffee as it warms. Taste is vanilla, milk chocolate, cognac (shrugs), some green apple but it’s pleasant. Sweet finish with some bitter coffee. Silky smooth mouthfeel.

330 ml.

Pitch black with weak brown head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee mixed with hard hitting vanilla and alcohol. Taste is sweet chocolate, heavy on the vanilla, roasted malt and bitter coffee in the finish. Alcohol is noticeable in the taste and in the heat. Full bodied and thick. General impression is of creamy coffee spiced with Captain Morgan Spiced Gold. Maybe a bit too much.

Wow. What an intense beautiful vanilla stout. Full of aroma and leaves a distinct vanilla aftertaste. Wish i had a few cases. Top 5 for sure and not sure if the brunch weasel is better or not.. both my favs now.

Bottle at home. Pour is pitch black with a creamy brown head and sticky lacing. Big sweet vanilla beans, bourbon soaked coffee beans, sweet milk chocolate, creme brûlée, light earthy but really just loaded with vanilla icing. Awesome! Taste is cocoa nibs - gives a light bitterness - toasted bread, fresh vanilla beans, milkshake, lactose, earthy, fresh roasted espresso and birthday cake with a touch of heat on the backend. Thick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Seriously tasty chocolate cake with rich vanilla frosting. Easily one of the best shelf turds you can get.

Deep and thick black pour. Off the chart aromas of vanilla, coffee and bitter malt roast. Thick mouthfeel and tastes of more coffee and the vanilla kicks in the background. The stout is still there. Sweet and luscious.
