Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent June 2013 consumed at home in company of Casey & Traci 06.07.13 Pours black with dark brown head, looks good. The nose is a good combination of vanilla and coffee with a goodly dollop of cream and chocolate or milky, creamy chocolate to be more precise. Whilst I like this beer and whilst I like the vanilla, maybe the vanilla is deployed just a little too heavily here, nice but a little overkill. I think the strength is very well masked I really didn’t believe it was that strong. Good beer, very good in fact, smooth, indulgent and really tasty, just not quite great. A8 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle, 13%. Chocolate cake aroma, some vanilla. Very black colour, and very dark brown head. Thick mouthfeel. The flavour is very sweet and has a lot of vanilla and light chocolate. Dry Nesquick or O’boy powder seems to clog my nose at the moment. It is too flavourful for me but tastes good.

Thick and black. Thick brown head. Lots of milk chocolate and vanilla. Thick and extremely creamy mouthfeel, like whipped cream with cocoa powder. Milk chocolate and vanilla with ok balancing bitterness. Deliscious, powerful.

Color is black with brown head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla. Taste is strong, a mixture of milk and Cocoa, very sweet. I could drink half a beer, but NOT a whole one. Still very interesting.

Bottle. Pours cloudy nearly black with airy but stable dark tan head. Dark, sweet aroma of vanilla, caramel malt and chocolate. Sweet flavour of chocolate, caramel malt, and milk coffee, with bitter notes of alcohol and liquorice. Pulvery mouthfeel. Bittersweet aftertaste. Heavy stuff. Not bad, though.

330 ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop, shared at RB Tasting Vienna March Edition
Pitch black body, with a small, dense, brown head.
Aroma of coffee, caramel, liquorice, some smoke, some alcohol, little vanilla notes.
Taste follows this, but without any vanilla notes and more alcohol presence.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, alcoholic, quite dry, with coffee.

Very nice, although not as special as other beers from the Beer Geek range. Almost no vanilla. Drinks a bit like Beer Geek Breakfast, but less complex and with much more alcohol.

EtTuCthulhu (1239) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAR 29, 2015
This beer pours a thick, viscous black color with a medium tan head that fades quickly to a ring. The aroma blends roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, lactose sugar, and a hint of booze. The taste is mildly sweet, mildly umami, a touch boozy, and a touch bitter; the aftertaste is reminiscent of a bowl of French vanilla ice cream with a mug of coffee on the side. The mouthfeel has an oily texture, medium body, and a nearly flat carbonation.

Botte. RB Tasting Vienna March Edition. Dark oily body with low brown head. Aroma has dusty cocoa, loaded with coffee, caramel. Taste has high coffee bitterness, low roasty sweetness. Body is full, oily, dusty, low carbonation.

Pours a solid black with a short brown head. The aroma is lots of vanilla with a bit of toasty malt and chocolate. The flavor is similar flavor of rich vanilla and toasty malt with a sweet finish over a heavy body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2015 Holy whatever is holy. Smells like vanilla shake. This is amazing. Vanilla. Chocolate. Slight coffee. Seriously tastes like a vanilla milk shake, in a great way. Great recommendation vyvvy. I regret sharing my bottle with a non geek friend, because I want more now.
