Mikeller does not know what they’re doing with this one. Pours brownish with a thin white head. Nose has a slight astringency to it like pinesol. Taste is inert. Tastes like alcohol which is to say it doesn’t hide it’s heft very well.

On draught at the Brewdog Bar. Golden beer with a lacy, white head. Musty trippel nose with belgian candi sugar, yeast, some grassy notes and also wet cardboard. Some smoked malt aroma and flavour. Tastes very nice with plenty of fruity yeast and caramel malt. Quite sweet and musty.

4oz pour at Max’s Rare and Obscure Beer Week Part 4. Pours a transparent, bright almost neon orange with a thin, lacing white head. Smells like orange soda, candies, Popsicles, Sunkist. Flavor is exactly the same, lots of orange candy, sugary, soda pop, a little medicine, booze. Full bodied, sweet finish. Very one note.

Draught at Farmers Cabinet shared with Dean during RBSG. Poured a hazed orange body with a small off white fuamy head. Aroma of subdued grains and dry sugar. Medium to fuller bodied with average carbonation. Flavor is chocolatey, tootsie roll pop, seltzer. I was sober when I rated this so I know my notes are right and this is what I ordered but I wonder if there was a mix up with the kegs, I mean an orange body and chocolate flavors in a tripel....weird.
