Malty for an IPA. Some citrus flavors and decent hoppiness. A decent IPA, but far from my favorite

Can to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent pale burnt orange with bubbly off-white head. Smells of bitter hops with a medium-bodied sweet pale malt backbone; a bit of citrus too. Tastes like it smells with a bit of booziness. Average (at best) on the palate. Another malt-forward Mikkeller IPA; not bad though.

Can. A medium golden color with a white head. A nice citrus and floral aroma and finish. Well balanced and very enjoyable. It has a rich malty base.

Amber pour. Light head. A tad more malt heavy than I prefer in my IPAs. But it’s smooth and easy to drink. Light grassy hops, caramel/biscuity malt.

12 ounce can from The Beer Trappe. Malty looking and tasting pour. Some pine and citrus. Light resin. Solid.

Dr_Fellini (365) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - JUN 2, 2014
Can to glass. Pours a mostly clear deep copperish amber color with a light tan head. Aroma is a subtle caramel malt sweetness with a hint of citrus and floral bitterness. Flavor is somewhat astringent, with a decent bitter kick. Light to medium in body with a nice mild bittersweet lingering into the finish. Ok IPA.

BrettTaylor (456) - Radford, Virginia, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Poured from can. Pours a dark orange’ish body with light off-white head that is two fingers. Leaves a lot of lacing and head dissipates some but is very resilient. Aroma is mostly pine/resin with hints of citrus and a touch of grass. Taste - very bitter, almost prickly on the tongue from the acid, quick bright citrus note, then some malt at the finish.

An orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is piney, floral, and a bit malty. The flavor is heavy resin and floral.

baraciisch (1699) - USA - APR 25, 2014
Dark clear amber in color... Aroma of rich caramel toffee malts, notes of citrus hops... Flavor is fairly caramely, lots of malt character with moderate citrus and grassy hop notes... Decent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
