12 oz. can poured into a pint glass. Don’t know where it was bought, got it for Fathers Day. Pours a beautiful coppery amber with a good fingers worth of off white head. Modest bits and pieces of lace. Subtle hop aroma, at least compared to some "hop bombs" and a good amount of caramel malt. Leans towards sweetness with the malty, bready base being in the lead with a juicy tropical fruit flavor coming up second. Full body with a mildly bitter finish. Very nice.

From 355 ml can. Pours a hazy orange-brown with a sudsy white head. Aromas of caramel, orange zest, dankness, flowers and biscuits. Taste starts off with orange and caramel before a relatively gentle pine and grapefruit zest bitterness creeps in. Lingering bitter finish with a slightly sweet, orangey aftertaste. Interesting take on an East Coast IPA.

12 ounce can. This is like a return to the 90s IPA in some senses, and it is fun. Pours a clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A big sweet malty nose with pine. The flavor is bitterness, caramel, toffee, pine. Solid.

Can. Pours orange with a white head. Sweet malts, light herbal hops, and mild floral notes. Low bitterness for an IPA. Maybe old? I don’t know, there’s no date on the can. Not necessarily bad, but definitely not a good IPA.

Can. Beautiful reddish brown copper pour with a big white head. Pine, bread, perfume, herb. Medium body. Strong bitterness when compared to overall body and other flavor.

CAN. Pours a hazy orange to brown with quick disappearing white head. Sweet malts, caramel & honey on the nose. Good sweet caramel malt up front, sweet tropical fruits hops with a quick finish. Sourced RW

Deep amber coloured body with a two centimetre tall lighter tan head. Aroma of bitter earthy and nutty hops with a grass, caramel and alcohol note to the smell as well. Medium-bodied; Strong earthy and very nutty hops coupled with some specialty-grain malt, sort of a rye or an oatmeal flavour with a bitter earthy bite on the end and not much hops at all. Aftertaste shows a slight hop bitterness, but the mainstays of the flavour are the caramel and malt, but neither are very good nor complex. Overall, a decent beer at best, and this is definitely not an IPA, but an English Pale Ale, and still - not a very good one. This only has decent ratings because it’s a ’reputation beer’ and because people see Mik... on the front and immediately buy it and think it’s going to be great. That said, this is definitely worth passing up and shouldn’t even be considered unless you’ve had absolutely everything in the store and you are about to head on a train and need a can. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 31-January-2015 for US$3,49 sampled at home in Washington on 28-May-2015.

American IPA it says on the can. And there, you get it. Big terrible nasty viscous mouth coating frikken on style ipa. What else can be said? Well the color is orangy pale with a big thick goes rocky head. To make it even worse, its at room temperature, wew. I’ll shut up now. OK, so mikky’s big international now? Thanks RB, heheheh. I’ll just go buy a guiness at the old rolling rock plant, thank you.
