Smells of pine, caramel and toffee, tastes mostly of toffee and caramel with a tad bit of bitterness to balance the amazingly sweet malts. Mouthfeel is very thick, perfect for a barleywine, not very much carbonation but itís to be expected of the style. Mikeller did a great job, if it was more available itíd be my go to barleywine

TET (2160) - FINLAND - DEC 26, 2014
Over a year old bottle. A beautiful reddish colour, a head is medium and beige. The aroma is rich, sweet berries and some fruits. Strawberries and raspberries, some caramell, pleasant. Taste is rich and sweet, berries, some wood. Some bitterness that is piney and herbal, but the taste is still quite sweet. Full bodied, low carbonation. Strongly sweet dessert, but the sweetness is pleasant. Good beer.

Bottle. Brown reddish. Sweet malty, raisins, alcohol and yeastyness. Bitter, med bodied, sweet plum fruity. Feels messy and homebrewed. Just a lot of everything thrown together. Slight phenolic, yeasty. Icky sweetness. Iíd had better than this.
