375mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan / brown head. Aroma of complex bourbon, booze, liqueur, caramel and some mild sweetness. Flavour is boozy and complex, with notes of bourbon, alcohol, caramel, and liqueur. The Pappy barrels definitely come through, the sweetness is cut well by the barrels, and the booze isn’t actually that dominantly. Very complex, as have all the Pappy aged beers I’ve tasted. Wonderful stuff -- perhaps my favourite of the series.

Bottle. Black with small beige head. Aroma of coffee, licorice, booze, oak, smoke, chocolate and sugar. Taste is very sweet and light to medium bitter with alcoholol, raw sugar and licorice. Medium to full bodied and very warming. Boozy as hell but I loved it

Bottle. Black with a large tan head. Quite a lot of vinegar and medicine in the aroma. Also roasted malt and wood. Taste of medicine, soy and some roasted malt. Drinkable but I was not that impressed about this one. Too boozy to be honest.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate aroma. Roasted sweetish malty woody chocolate caramel flavor with hints of licorice. Has a roasted malty sweetish chocolate and caramel woody finish.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, and a bit of iodine. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, chocolate, and iodine, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of licorice, booze, oak, light smoke, coconut, raw sugar, soy and some light chocolate. Taste is very sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of booze, raw sugar and licorice. Medium to full bodied with light to medium carbonation. Way too boozy but not entirely awful.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a completely opaque black with a creamy light brown head. Fat, sweetish vanillaish maltiness and soft barrel notes in the aroma. Extremely rich body, soft carbonation, again plenty of vanilla, rustic and a little oxidized in the barrel-aging. Has a fat alcoholic finish. 121212
