3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a diseased blood reddish brown with minimal cap. Aroma is red wine, plum, wood, coffee, vanilla. Oh so much vanilla. And booze. Taste is tannic and sweet. Very dry finish from a coating, sticky mouthfeel. Pretty much a red wine drenched beer.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle sampled at Classic City Brew Fest 2014. Pours a deep brownish black with minimal head. Aroma is much like the original with hints of earthy wood and dark fruit. Tannic taste but still very roasty, somehow the booze is better hidden. Good stuff.

Pours dark brown . As good as no head, and what it does have, fades instantly .
Smell is very full, oaty, bitter . Some oak and wine, but not too much .
Very low carbo ( almost none ) Bitter, chocolate-intense taste , chocolate gets rediculously intense after the bitterness fades . To be honoust, the barrel is very hidden in this one . Yet it is an awesome beer, as I absolutely love chocolate .
