Flavor is surprisingly sweet though not intensely alcoholic as I expected... with strong notes of chocolate, vanilla, and dark fruits with a slight roasty hop kick. More drinkable than I initially gave it credit for, and a nice imperial stout overall.

Dark and intensely sweet with mixed flavor of dark chocolate, soy sauce, and hop resins. Pours the deepest black with a small ring of dark brown head. Alcohol legs are prevalent, but the burn is minimal for a 13% beer. Nice thick mouthfeel that still retains drinkability.

Black color with one finger beige head. Aroma of tropical fruits (surprisingly), chocolate, anise, cocoa, quite hoppy. Taste is light to medium sweet, a bit sour (in a good way) and almost no bitterness. Medium body, creamy slick texture, soft carbonation. One of the most interesting Imperial Stouts I have had!

Bottle. Black with tan head. Aroma is peach and soy sauce. Taste is the same but adds some coffee grounds and char. Oily mouthfeel. Pretty strange but not bad.

2010 bottle lots of thick creamy head, plenty of motor oil. The head is gone and now I smell coffee and lots of sweetness. st odeons beast! This shit is good. Coffee, roasted malts, and hint of booze but well hidden for the ABV, it’s what the description says...Complex!

Pours pitch black with no head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, coffee, honey, brown sugar. Taste is honey, vanilla, chocolate, molasses, espresso coffee. Exceptional!!

Aroma is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with dark fruits, roasted malt, wood, chocolate, english sauce, flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter, bittersweet finish ,creamy texture, smooth, delicious.

Bottle from Choice Beverages in McKinney. Pours black with a medium tan head. The aromas are chocolate, roasted coffee, licorice. The mouthfeel is dry bitter and has a slightly sweetness to it with a chocoalty ending. This was an absolutely great beer! Cheers!

Color negro opaco, con espuma beige abundante y densa. Aromas especiados, canela y maltas tostadas con ligeros toques alcohólicos. En boca es compleja, posee un sabor intenso en el que se integran de forma muy equilibrada toques dulces y amargos acafetados que se muestran simultáneamente, aunque finalmente se imponen éstos últimos. No obstante, también se deja ver un ligero picazón muy agradable. posee una densidad media que facilita mucho su trago. ¡¡¡Sorprendente!!!
