Draught@Stone’s (during Mikkeller week, 2013). Black color, tan head. Appealing, sweet aroma with oak, chocolate and vanilla. Full, well-balanced flavor with bitter chocolate. Full body, light carbonation. Very nice!

A pitch black beer with a off white head. An immediate hit of milky chocolate, then a light nutty aroma. Dry mouthfeel. The chocolate theme comes through again in the taste. Initially sweet and milky, but this is soon tempered by a dryer, dark chocolate, nutty and malty flavour. The finish is long, dry, chocolatey and nutty. Tasted at BierCaB, Barcelona. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ C4, Odense. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Massive bourbon in the nose. Underneath is licorice, dark fruit and roasted coffee. Charcoall. Smooth and slick. Dry and quite hoppy bitter finish! Good stuff!

Christian (11274) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 21, 2014
On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a small but lasting tan head. Big aroma of chocolate and coffee, with fruity notes, oak, vanilla and a little soy sauce. Sweetish, roasted flavour, with fruit and oak, and quite notable alcohol. Walks a thin line between overwhelming and too much...

ramboraffe (719) - SWEDEN - OCT 8, 2014
On tap at ölrepubliken. Black with tanned head. Smell is roasted malt and bitter. Taste is bitter coffee with roasted malt and finishing bitterness. Not really balanced. Dry with high bitterness and low carbonation.

12oz glass on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours black in color with a finger and a half of light brown head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains and chocolate with some coffee notes. Taste is a roasted grain and bold hoppy bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. Medium to heavy body with nice carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. Nicely balanced and well crafted brew that is worthy of a great sampling experience.

Vestergaard (452) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2014
Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours pitch black with a nice looking, small, creamy, brown head.Aroma has a bitter roast up front, that has something very dry and wooden to it. Chocolate and coffee i here as well, but this fresh wood really shines through. Taste has the same dry wood, but in a more mature way, and works more with the roast, that has plenty of coffee and a bit of ash. Some sweet, burned sugary notes, a bit of prunes and chocolate. Full body and a medium-low carbonation. Fine stout, that has some complexity to it, but lack a bit of excitement,
