[ Handbottle - thanks to Mikkel and Jeppe and the rest of the Copenhagen crew that made it possible for me to taste this beer ) @ Ulfborg. Pours unclear dark brown with a small bubbly off white head. Nose is fruity hops, strong alcohol, sweet toffee and dark fruit. Quite complex. Vinous and strong hoppy flavor with a bit of alcohol and loads of exotic hops involved. Oily, sticky and slick. Very nice!

[ Handbottle - thanks to Mikkel and Jeppe and the rest of the copenhagen crew that made it possible for me to taste this beer ].>br>Unclear medium red amber color with a virtually none off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy overriped fruit - berry, wood light cherry, moderate alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, overriped fruit, a alcohol warm finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy and sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20100219]

Handbottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dense caramelish and cherry fruity. Sticky sweet, dark caramelish, roasted breadish and with a nice cherry sharpness. Smooth fruity and dark roasted malt flavoured into the finish. Interesting mix between the solid sweet malt and the sharp cherry notes.

Handbottle - thanks to Mikkel and Jeppe and the rest of the crew that made it possible for me to taste it - it made a nice pffizzz when opened, so still carbonated. A murky red-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very powerful with strong notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, as well as medium notes of cherries and wood. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of dextrose, alcohol, caramel, and over ripe fruits as well as lighter notes of wood and cherries, the caramel just flows thru the mouth in a very smooth way, and leads to a dry, alcohol, dextrose, and caramel finish, where a light vanilla note also appears. Interesting, but a bit too much dextrose for my liking.

On tap. Hazy brownish amber with a medium-sized head. Aroma is of fruity hops, sweet fruits and caramel. Some warming alcohol as well. The flavor is very sweet with lots of caramel malts and fudge underneath floral hops, sweet cherry-like fruits and brown sugar. Don’t get much tartness. Ends warming and bitter with notes of oak and caramel. Full-bodied and sticky, but fairly dry finish. Good, well hidden alcohol. But kind of ordinary, considering what’s in it and how it was brewed.

Handbottled. Distinct aroma, grassy hop aroma, hint of caramel. Cloudy dark brown colour, hint of red. The flavour is hoppy, herbal, grassy, refreshing, VERY sweet. OK alcohol level, it burns well in combination with the hop burn. There is a little vanilla in the finish, must be from the oak. Slightly slimy mouthfeel, probably from the sugar.
