Bottle picked up at Kaapse Brouwers Bottle Shop, Thursday 26th March 2015 Amber with pretty good clarity, white head. A little more in the style of a US IPA, more of a maltiness, soft on the mouth, bittersweet and with a touch of dryness. Tropical fruit a bit of pineapple then moves to a more familiar citrus pushiness. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle 0,33L, probably from Hoppiness beershop in Koper - not sure. Clear, light copper colour with average big, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of blueberries, grapefruit and a hint of caramel. Taste goes from light bitter over a basket full of fruits to the medium bitter finish. Medium to full body, oily texture and soft carbonation. A bit lighter and very refreshing beer.

From a 330ml bottle on 3/2/2015. Pours a clear golden with a small to medium head. The nose is very pleasant floral and fruity, with lots of passionfruit and lychee. Flavour wise, you best biscuity malt and lots of sweet stone and tropical fruit (melon, peach and more passionfruit) with some firm satisfying, lingering hops countering. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Not sure this is really an IPA, as it bears little resemblance to the typical US style. More an APA for mine. But it’s a bloody nice pale none the less. No real surprise given it’s a Mikkeller.

Tall slightly off-white head, thick, with great retention. Aroma has light citrus and lots of tropical fruits, grapefruit, light caramel malts. Taste of tropical fruits, mango, light pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peaches. Mildly bitter finish, with the bitterness building up on the aftertaste. Medium thin body with good carbonation.
