On tap at Beer Deluxe. Pours hazy orange. Grassy but heavily dampened nose, like something is blocking the aroma to come out. Slightly creamy texture, noticeable bitterness, a bit of hops, but nothing exciting in any way.

Bottle. Pours in light hazy pale body with low white head. Aroma has a gentle diacetyl profile, almost pop-corn like. Light earthy background. Taste has earthy bitterness with malty grainy background. Body has gentle carbonation with medium body. The DMS is pretty interesting in here, almost non existing in the aroma but has a light place in the taste. Interesting.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Pours cloudy, with a loose bubbled fringe. A lot drier than what I anticipated. Yellower too. Balanced, spiky mouthfeel. Notes of Saison yeast. Don’t really know what a Cream Ale is. But this is nice.

Bottle - 330ml. Cloudy golden body with a thin, white creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty and mango hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries coriander and citrusy notes. Ends with a long bitter/herbal finish. Very good.

pours cloudy very pale golden, grey tint, with a small white cap, not quite reviving or leaving any form of lacing - let’s just say minimal but clearly lacking for a cream ale. spicy citrus - some peel, bready and crackery pale maltiness, some fruitiness - tangerines with a pineapple touch, dry honey, leafy grassy notes along with bitter herbs, hint of vanilla. light carbonation, light body - definitely creamy and smooth, balanced spicy-citrusy finish. creamy indeed. mild as suggested by style. remains pretty darn boring but drinkable.

Definitely not what i would have expected from cream ale, and in this case that is not a positive attribute. It tasted like IPA and had no creamy or oily texture that one expects from cream ale. Had some thickness to its texture, and overly low carbonation. Not a terrible after taste.
