Bottle from astral beers bologna. Nice hazy amber colour, full body initial sweet but finishes witha nice bitterness. Good beer, but not the best d ipa I have had. But ok.

Pors hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of tangerine, orange, thick fat hops, pine, some weak sweeter sirupy notes behind, citrus and some weak bread notes. Taste of fresh grapefruit, citrus, lemon peel, sharp hops, orange, a bit of sweeter malts and bitter resin.

Dirty, hazy, cloudy amber with a thick white head. Smells super fresh. A little earthy. Fruits such as pineapple. Pine as well. Taste is spicy bitter hops, but with an almost pilsner-malty hint to it. Suits it well though. Not as fruity as expected, but the spices makes up for it. Great and fresh. would bang.

Marmalade. Fruit. Lychee. And bloody Sorachi Ace sticking out like a sore thumb. This is a gimmick hop, and I really don’t like it if it’s noticeable. Fairly mellow smooth body. Spicy heat, but not boozy per se. Sweet, and a little slick. Gentle bitter finish, but doesn’t do much for me. Not that "DIPA" is a style I like, but this is boring me at best, and annoying me at worst (bloody Sorachi Ace!).

Tasted 30/03/2013 from the bottle. Pours virgin golden color with perfectly white head. Aroma is lovely and intriguing, some unusual tropical notes, resiny, grapes. Taste is amazing, again those strange tropical fruits, a pinch of grapefruit, pleasant grassy tones - all backed with a proper malt sweetness. Aftertaste is perfectly bitter. 33 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy amber with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, exotic fruit (plenty of Nelson Sauvin), pine, and caramel. Flavour is grapefruit, exotic fruit, caramel, and pine – with a dry and bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, light amber with a large white head. Aroma is exotic fruits. Passion fruit, mango, pineapple, some grapefruit. Taste is quite sweet with exotic fruits. Mango and pineapple dominating. Caramel is strong as well. Dries up for a bitter, piney finish. Resinous as well. Palate is full and suitably carbonated.

Very delicious sweet double ipa. Incredibly well hopped with floral and fruity aromas. It’s a keeper!
