750 ml from Beer Trappe. Malt/fruit bomb. Some tropical fruit and honey. Bit sweet and malty. Malty bitter nose. I think I expected more.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus hop and earthy malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy complex bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy complex bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This is a complex solid beer.

750ml, shared with local raters. Completely hazy orange color. Good thin white head, leaves decent dots of lace. Nice, orangey citrusy aroma. Lightly piney. Nice big spicy hop in the flavor, with a long spicy, herbal hoppy aftertaste. Bigger body. Smooth, soft, kind of crisp lighter carbonation, with a dry finish. Stronger malt presence here, but not in an old, stale way, not too much caramel. Still a satisfying, balanced amount of hops, too. Bigger bitter taste, little sweetness. A satisfying European DIPA, for me.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks good for the style; a cloudy orange with white lacing. Smells of bitter hops with a fairly malty backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid beer.

Bottle aplit at JF’s, acquired from Cotteridge Wines, 19/07/13. Hazed orange amber with a mahoooosive off white head that thins but stays for the show. Nose is caramel malt forward, bitter grapefruit, bitter orange, damp cloth, light booze. Taste comprises hops, bitter grapefruit, orange pith, mineral notes, boozey tones. Full end of medium bodied, soft carbonation. OK DIPA but a little over boozey, this aspect could have been worked better.

Pours a tawny golden with a thick white head that fades slowly. The first scent is pure grapefruit followed by a hint of alcohol and bubble gum. Taste follows aroma fairly closely with the citrus upfront followed by the alcohol. Alcohol becomes more pronounced as the beer warms and the bitterness starts to set in. A bit of an oily mouthfeel

Veldig god i munnen/smak, men lukter litt oksidert (?) og neglelakkfjerner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great floral aroma with hints of exotic fruits and some alcohol. Head is strong, thick, and quite some retention. Body is carbonated just right and begins with a sweeter, stronger, classic dIPA taste. Aftertaste is amazing though with great hoppyness, bitterness and even hints of roasted barley. Very drinkable and no real feeling of how strong it really is!

Shared this bottle with benzai. Hazy orange, big off-white head. Smells hoppy, fresh, fruity, grapefruits, sharp, lovely. Tastes very hoppy, very bitter, very fresh, very fruity. Medium body, heavy carbo but doable.

Pours a hazy orange with rocky white head. Big floral nose, some pine and citrus, fairly standard double IPA territory. Taste is refreshing, with more citrus coming through, and dried apricot. Good bitterness on the finish, not as sweet as some in this category. Solid beer, hides the strength well.
