Dimmigt gul med ett orange skum. Doft: Ananas, persika, dadlar, mango, mandlar. Mycket söt, fruktig och fresh doft. Smak: Malt, persika, ananas, start musli. Något händer (mindre bra) , tror det kan bero på att få ihop allt med tanke på den höga alkohol halten.

This DIPA comes with a strange-fruity flavor, in a bad way. Apart from the obvious citrus and tropical fruits from the hops it tastes fruity-sweet like a "full bodied fruit"-taste. Almost like they had som sort of fruit in the beer. Far from any of the other countless DIPAs I’ve ever had. Might have gotten a bottle gone bad... Don’t know.

Es una cerveza maravillosa, su aromas es penetrante y el sabor lleno de matices, pero muy potente. Me ha sorprendido gratamente. Eso si el precio se sube un poco.

APPEARANCE: Burnt orange, amber, with solid head that faded fast, cloudy. Average lacing. AROMA: starts with malt grain, caramel, some citrus, floral and pine hops aromas, some pinneaple juice, some booze in the background TASTE: medium-sweet wtih bitterness in the middle. Starts with caramel flavours, than grapefruit. Finishes with strong hop flavours mostly citrus (grapefruit, orange peel). In general taste is more citrus and tropical, less floral with a bit of herbal character. PALATE: medium and thick body, medium carbonation, sweet and hoppy finish OVERALL: Really good DIPA. One of the best I’ve drunken with quite a lot of citrus and tropical falvours, moderate bitterness and balanced malty character.

Bardzo dobre Imperialne IPA. Piana spora nawet trwala. Kolor metny, ciemno pomaranczowy. W zapachu chmiele. Az 5 odmian, z Nelsonem i Sorach Ace na czele. Jedne z moich ulubionych.

Imperial ipa magnifica, sapientemente e spropositatamente luppolata e molto molto gustosa. Il gusto è dominato da note di frutta tropicale e agrumi, in particolare mango, papaya e pompelmo, discretamente amara e con una ottima base maltata che le da consistenza e riesce a mascherare eccellentemente il grado alcolico. Imperdibile!

330 ml bottle from Portale Birra, served in a nonic pint glass. Deep sunrise orange, pretty hazy, with a nice and persistent yellow-ish head. Good lacing. One dimensional aroma, all about tropical fruits! Lots of grapefruit, mango, papaya, but not as hoppy and in powerful as expected. Slightly buttery, with some fruity esters and caramel notes in the background. Much better in the mouth, very nice level of bitterness, quite balanced with the caramel malts, slightly sticky but not that much compared to some others examples of the style. Light alchool in the finish, but it’s well hidden and not unpleasent. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Could be more clean and refined, but it’s a nice DIPA.

Keg at BD Shep Bush. Aroma of yellow boozy fruit and medicinal touch. Big bitterness in the mouth, moving towards pineapple I’m the middle then settling on bittersweet gourd. Large. Boozy but not too much so. Bittersweet essence!

Aroma: massive hops, floral, fruity. Appearance: slightly hazy gold, small to medium head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: bitters coming up quite quickly, medium carbonation, nice hoppiness, but sweets take over. Overall: very nice Double IPA, fantastic aroma. Bottle at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen.
