On tap at BeerDeLuxe. Another full-marks imperial stout. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, rum, caramel. Taste is sweet and bitter, very long length. Syrupy and full bodied. Black with off-white head.

An aroma of freshly ground grains modulated by a sweetish tinge of molasses. Pours with zero head and is dark and intense, like a NW stout. Sweet taste with a good coffee essence right at the back. Lets put it this way. After taking a sip, the aftertaste reminds me of the after taste of an espresso. Lots of good bitterness. The odor, flavor and taste are great. It's a pretty intense sipping beer that I would not have too often. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black with a small tan head. Coffee both in the aroma and taste. Also roasted malt, some licorice, chocolate and some alcohol. The finish was long and bitter. A tasty beer.

Fad> Kulsort ’l med et lille mokkabrunt skumhoved. Duften er kaffestout med en snert malt. Smagen er igen dominerende kaffe med et drys vanilie. Dejlig oel men ikke helt saa god som baller.

12oz glass on tap at the Underground Tap and Grill pours black in color with a finger of light brown head that leaves some spotted lacing. Aroma is roasted grains with chocolate and coffee as well. Taste is very well balanced between the chocolate malty sweetness and the roasted grainy and coffee bitterness. Heavy bodied with moderate carbonation providing a good feeling on the palate. So smooth and oh so good , so very, very good.

Black pour with frothy tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, caramel. Taste of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, hint of espresso, faint licorice and ripe fruit in the background. Creamy mouthfeel, full bodied and perfect carbonation. When I think of an imperial stout now, this is the man! Absolutely Delicious!!

What color is this crown??? Brown yet dark grey (dam you shitty bar lighting) foam floating on top of a extremly dark brown body. Wholly Frankin Fucks what did I just smell and taste. So very thick and heavy chocolate, burnt sugar, tobacco......I’m drooling all over the bar. Aroma is nicly balanced. Taste is better, it coats your mouth in awsomness. Perfect sweetness with a bitter finish, heavey chocolate (not bakers). Might be raspberry not sure though. This is an epic beer. Burnt malts, low level spice, and more stuff with descriptive names. I love the beer.....possibly my favoite by mikkeller ( or at least favorite stout by Mikkeller )

Oooo!!! On tap at Underground. Totally black, big stupid dark brown bubbly cap. Thick ass rich coffee, wet toffee, ash, oatmeal goodness, faintest sweet cinnamon. Lovely shit, yo. The tar and molasses want to creep in but because their moms have big hips they also have big hips and didn’t fit in the bottle. Wow that was super gay and a total failure which means it must remain for personal humiliation. Could be a bit more obvious but who cares. I love big stupid beers after a double yoga class. Taste: lightly bitter dark choco oatmeal burnt sugar yumminess, faint heat, chewy toffee, oily goodness, ashes, more ashes tied into some sweetness. Very good very good.

Frs fat på Mikkeller Ølbar: kullsort nesten uten skum. Aroma av masse godsaker som kaffe, vanilje, sjoklade mm. Vinøs og kompleks smak som vil vare herfra og til Fermentoren.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Pitch black beer with a small but rather lasting brownish head. Malty licorice aroma, caramel, chocolate, vinous, raisins, prunes, plums, salty, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, notes of tar, smoked notes, soot, woody, some vanilla notes, toffee, some cream, bitter notes, some ash. Chocolate flavor, roasted, cream, vanilla, cocoa powder, raisins, prunes, salty notes, some hoppy bitterness, smoked, vinous notes, sweet licorice, creamy, spicy notes, some honey. Full bodied and with alcohol very well hidden. Really, really good!
