COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Mikkeller at De Proefbrouwerij in Lochristi, Belgium.

’Fad bamse’ is a highly hopped and dry hopped imperial pilsner with a light body and lovely crispyness from the lager yeast.
A Danish pilsner is typically characterized by an alcohol content of 4,6% vol., piss-yellow colour and a sexless, slightly bitter taste. But it doesn’t have to be like this…! Draft Bear is Mikkellers interpretation of a ’pilsner’, heavyweight-style. With its powerful hop notes, high alcohol content and lovely golden appearance, the only reference to the pilsner style is the clean taste of the lager yeast.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pils, carapils and amber), light candy sugar, hops (amarillo and cascade) and lager yeast.

Etichettata come P6 Beat, 6.8% abv.

Piana biała, dość obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, utrzymująca się i ładnie oblepiająca szkło. Wysycenie średnie. Aromat: zdecydowanie alkoholowy, nieco spirytusowy, a nawet rozpuszczalnikowy. Smak: słodowy, zdecydowanie pełny i wyraźnie słodki.

Cloudy orange amber, thin but long foggy off-white head, nice lacing. Good aroma: nuanced malt with light roasting, caramel, dark bread, black berries. Medium body, medium bitter, dry, standard carbonation, long malty finish. Good one, tasty and interesting, nuanced.

Sample at The Crest. The beer pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops and citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle. Moderate grain for the malt, light to moderate perfume for the hops, light dough and soap for the yeast, with honey, nectarine and dried apricot. Head is large, frothy, off-white, with excellent crusty lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear, but hazy on the last pour, medium amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a carbonation between soft and lively. This Strong Pale Lager if full of fruity aromas and well balanced flavors.
