Jul 26, 2008 750 ml bottle. If this is pilsner than I want more pilsners. To me it was more like a combo of belgian blonde and apa.Pours a nice amber color. Nice hoppy but yeasty nose, smells great, saying drink me now. Kind of a creamy mouthful, but delicious and very drinkable, a great session beer, but watch it with the 8%. Very nice hop flavor with a nice bitter finish.

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle from Sam’s Clybourn. I think it is fair to call this an imperial pilsner. Distinctly German, but Pilsner nonetheless. Pour is a hazy gold with rambunctious head. Tasty and bitter, huge noble hop aroma, a little bread. Mostly, though, this is really hoppy and bitter in a clean, somewhat astringent way. Pretty nice, but far from perfect.

Jul 22, 2008 Good stuff but dangerous in its drinkability. Hiccup.. Hop happy. Bready, not really. Nice palate, but it is not really a pilsner, though it is good.

Jul 15, 2008 The Dan Journal #197. Tasted 7/10/08. 750ml bottle. Clear with a dark golden hue. Clinging ring of trace white head. Spicy hoppy aromas. Medium bodied with high effervescence and a big grapefruit hop character. Nice bitterness.

Jul 15, 2008 From a 750 ml bottle. The body is hayz dark amber orange with a thick lightly yellow tinted head. The aroma is strong with sweet pears and some celery. There is also a little bit of nutmeg. The taste has some rich notes of canned peaches and a light cinnamon spice finish. There is also some toasted almond that comes through in the finish. For a big beer, this is really drinkable.
