Bottle at the “Drink for Charity” event at Rattle & Hum. Batch 01.01 Pours a light hazy orange with a thin white head. Citrus, pine, and some fruity wheat smells. Medium bodied, lightly sweet. Great subtle dry grapefruit finish. Very refined. Excellent take on an IIPA.

bottle. Huge thick creamy beige head that really lasted. Excellent display of lacework. Light cloudy golden color. Aroma of floral, peach, grapefruit, citrus, fruit, spice. Quite smooth and chewy like feel for a DIPA. Full bodied, average carbonation, dry texture. Moderated to heavy bitter and sweet flaver well balanced. Lingering dry bitter smooth finish.

Adenila (1546) - DENMARK - MAY 4, 2009
Unclear orange look with a nice white foam. Great great aroma with a mix of grapefruit, lemonpeel, elderflowers, a little pine and spices. Flavor is great at first with all the same moutharomas plus some toffee malty sweetness all leading to a dry bitter finish where the high alc unfortunetly reveals it self too much for mu liking.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye (Marked best by 08/01/11 and as batch 01.01.). Pours with a large white head over a hazed orange body. Pine hops and light alcohol, caramel and earth. Taste is hoppy with orange, honey, caramel and light florals. Light bubbles.

Bottle. Soapy, hoppy, grapefruit, a hop fan’s wet dream, sweet and drinkable. A well done IIPA.

ekstedt (4545) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 29, 2009
Bottle (33 cl) from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Hazy deep golden, medium white head. Fruity, aromatic aroma, clearly brewed with belgian yeast, with notes of tropical fruits. Medium bodied and smooth. Very refreshing, dry with a kind of gentle bitterness, surprisingly for a Mikkeller brew.

Clear deep golden color, big off-white head. Huge hoppy, grape, citrus, acidic scent. Hoppy bitter taste, acidic and grape. Big smooth mouthfeel, big bitterness. Pineapple aftertaste.
I don’t know, think I’m personally getting a bit fed up with huge american hops hoppy beers that aren’t balaned by any "smaller" hops. It’s a nice beer, I just get bored...

A DIPA with a slightly dirty look and a nicer head. Aroma is very hoppy with notes caramel, grass and pine. The flavour is thick and fullbodied with notes of lichee, caramel and heaps of hops. Quite bitter and drinkable!
