Bov (9050) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 6, 2009
courtesy of Jespr - pours a fully dark brown colour with a huge foam; solid aroma of overripe fruits (banana, prunes), caramel and candy sugar; the alcohol is quite apparent; full-bodied and very sweet, a bit sticky; long spicy and malty finish with notes of gingerbread, ripe fruits and warming alcohol notes - heavy

bottle from ølbutikken, cph. nice bottle wrapped in golden paper, corked and caged, as pictured. pours dark brown, with a smooth fine light brown head. aroma of dark fruits, sweet malts, after a while some yellow fruits and hops are also found in there. great aroma. strong flavor of english licorice, so dominant i almost can’t taste anything else. great taste though, finest licorice. dark fruits, sweetness, faint roastedness, rounded off by some flowery hops. I think the licorice impression i got was actually just the usual belgian spices, but they were close to licorice. well accomplished spicy flavor for sure. Alc well hidden and seems appropriate. some yeast in the flavor too. this is a "take your time" beer. too bad only 2000 produced.

A Mes rate. Bottle at LCRBM #5.
Dark cloudy amber with a good white head. Sweet, very sweet Belgian yeasty nose. Nice fruity malt in the mouth and the alcohol is very well hidden. Delicate fruity hops late on. One of the most straight forward Mikkeller beers I have had but it’s still a good one.

faroeviking (10294) - FAROE ISLANDS - NOV 2, 2009
Botella, thanks Skinnyviking. Pours a nice dark amber brown colour with a short lasting beige looking head. The aroma has a plesant frutiness with malt, and some spice. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a pleasant sweetness with fruits and malts, some yeast, alcohol and a pleasant soft bitterness.

Amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of dried fruits, molasses, malt and some alcohol. Dry with flavour of toffee and dark caramelized sugar. Some alcohol heat

375ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki) shared by Mirjukka - thanks!
Super deep red, tiny head. Massively savoury aroma, really big on the malts. Taste also massively malty - yeasty and marmitey. Slick and sweet, but not fruity like others noted. Good final beer of the evening, and slips down easily for a 12% beer.

Dark brown color, small beige head. Dark fruits, caramel in the nose. Medium to full bodied. Lots of dark fruits: figs, plums and then caramel. Soft, vinous palate. Sweetish dessert beer. Less alcoholic than ABV indicates. Very balanced, tasty Belgian. Girlie? Maybe.

Dedollewaitor (13390) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 19, 2009
Bottle @ Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours unclear amber brown with a small creamy head. Nose and taste is sweet and vinous. Lots of dark fruits, yeast and caramel. Chewy malty and vinous flavor. Warming. Medium to low duration. Full bodied. Still young, without a question, but it def. has a lot of potential.

Anker (723) - Hillerød, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2009
Bottle shared by Andreasen11. Hazy red/brown colour with a thick tan head. It has a nice caramel aroma with notes of sweet malt, fruit, raisins and a hint of alcohol. Flavour is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, raisins, plumes, a little spice and a hint of fruity hops. Nice and smooth.

(Bottled) Slightly hazy, dark ruby with a medium, firm head. Aroma of pancakes and strawberry jam - very desserty. Flavor is sweet Belgian strong ale with yeast, lots of dried fruit, sweet berries, touch of cheek-warming alcohol. Medium to full body, sugary-sweetish palate with pretty low carbonation. Way too sweet for my taste, but definitely a quite successful attempt to create the perfect girls’ dessert drink.
