yngwie (13106) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 20, 2014
Bottle. A dense, two-finger light beige head leaves lacings. Clear-looking brown body. The aroma has a faint boozy note, with roasted malts, coffee hints and a little touch of dark berries and dried fruits. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate. The flavor is pretty much the same, a bit one dimensional, even though the licquer lurks in the back. Smooth roasted finish. Easy drinkable, but a bit too one dimensional. 140420

rwgould (331) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2014
Pours an opaque brown with a tiny beige head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma: Bread, burnt nuts. Palate: Medium bodied, but rather watery. Slightly flat, slightly astringent. Taste: Starts off with medium bitterness, fades to a drier, slightly bitter finish. Not much flavour here, and the texture is unappetizing.

Bottle 375ml @Beer Hunters. Dark ruby color, steady beige head. Leather, coffee, tannines, malts in the nose. Light-bodied. Toasted coffeish flavor. Quite watery. Light wineous notes. Doesn"t gain much from barrel.
