Clear deep nutty color with a nice tan head. Lovely lacing. Looks great. Fruity and bready aroma. Full body. A bit sweet and a rich bitterness. Powerful and balanced flavor. Bready, fruity, citrus and toffee. Maybe a bit to bitter.

150 cl bottle @ home (bottle #82) - shared with a few people to celebrate my birthday (the Stella beers seem fairly appropriate to use for birthday celebrations). Pours dark brown with a huge off-white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma and flavour are pine, citrus, caramel, and toffee - with a slightly bitter finish.

Magnum from the webshop, #169. Dark and dirty mahogany with a dark beige head. Fairly sweet and slightly aged hop strong ale, fig, caramel, prune, malty, boozy, slight resin bite, moderate+ carbonation and body, somewhat dry, nice balance on the palate although a little too sweet on the nose. Very good.

Bottle @ Stella tasting. Pours clear auburn/chestnut with a huge frothy beige head. Aroma is quite hoppy considering the age, grapefruit, pine, caramel, red berries, chocolate, white cheese, resin and flowery. Taste is moderate sweet, heavy bitter, light acidic. Body is medium+, texture is oily, carbonation is moderate. Finishes dry and very bitter with booze and spice.

Vertikalprovning på Milkeller HQ, dagen före CBC -14. Kraftigt livligt skum. Klar kopparfärg. Spritig med maltig maltsötma. Otippat lättdrucken. Tyst och seriös provning inledningsvis. Tar emot efter några klunkar i sommarvärmen.

Dark ruby color. Huge 2-3 finger head, off white in color. Great retention and body to head. Good lacing. Nose is dark fruits, strawberry, stone fruit and some pine and grapefruit. Hops have held up quite well in the nose. Taste is stone fruits, strawberry, dry pine and grapefruit. Fades in and out between sweet and dry. Quite bitter still. Light carbonation and dry finish. Medium bodied. Really impressed how well it has held up for the age of the beer. Solid stuff

Magnum. Rich aroma, soy, plums, caramel, grass. Nicely aged. Dark reddish brown with still a nice head. Nicely carbonated, full, thick body. Very tasty, with lots of umami and still good hops and bitterness. Great.
