Tap @ København Ølfestival 2009. Aroma has strawberries, piney hops. Just a little hazy, red-brown coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is bitter with mainly strawberry and piney hops there. Some malty background. Great beer.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2011 On tap at Copenhagen beer festival. Pours a beautiful cloudy brownish red with a yellowish head. Aroma is nice and hoppy with some sweet grain and caramel backing, slightly dry. Flavor is quite bitter with pine hops and sweet grains and dry light fruits in the finish..

(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 21 May 2009) Dark reddish brown colour with foamy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with resiny and piney hops, toffee and chocolate. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of pine needles, toffee, chocolate, raisins, prunes and huge amounts of resiny, piney hops in the finish. Full bodied with balanced sweetness. Alcohol well hidden somewhere among the hops. Uncompromising beer with a serious hop profile and malt to match it. Heavy stuff ... and lovely!

Copenhagen Beer Festival. Lovely pine aroma. Packed with flavour, you feel a malty base here, but it is not allowed to surface. A hop bomb.

On tap. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Intensely fat hop aroma. Solid body with lots of roasted malt and caramel with a hint of vanilla. But overwhelmingly dominated by the fat and intense hop notes that also leave a massive bitterness. Really a hop lover’s dream! 160509
