Had this one @ CBF 2010. Black colored brew. Roasted aroma. Flavor is very smooth, coffee and roast.

Poured from a large bottle. Pitch black body with a tan coloured layer. Earthy malts to the nose, mid-sweet and slightly roasted. Taste of liquorice mixed with grainy, dark malts. Bitter endnotes of coffee. Soft on the swallow. Well made porter (RateBeer meeting point at Copenhagen Beer Festival, 08.05.2010).

1,5 L Bottle @ CPH Beerfestival, 2010. Pours black with a creamy lasting head and lacings. Nose is roast, coffee and chocolate. Very smooth. Roasted and ashy dry flavor with coffee and a bit of fruit. Dry roasted end. Nice

Bottle @ CBF 2010. The aroma has chocolate, coffee, fruity hops (berries). Black coloured beer with a medium, beige head. The taste has bitterness, some chocolate, coffee, and fruits. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Good bodied. Nice.

Bottle CBF 2010. Medium high creamy off-white lasting head. Pitch black body. Strong coffee aroma and flavor with a nice hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste.

Bottled at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very black, small beige head. Licorice aroma. Sweet, piney and perfumy with some chocolate behind. Full bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel and resiny bitterness.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee, leading to a dry finish.

Clear dark brown black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, hard roasted, dark chocolate, light burnt, moderate hoppy, dry hops, light alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long to average duration, roasted, dry coffee, dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100507]

Pours completely black with a lovely, creamy, beige cappucino head. Aroma is soft and sweet, roasted, chocolate, elegance. But not all that powerful. Low carbonation, utterly amazing dry and creamy mouthfeel. So velvety... Flavour has roasted malts, light liqourice, chocolate, some milky notes. Long, lingering, bitter aftertaste with chocolate and coffee. Really delicious, elegant and very bitter. Yum (sadly the aroma isn’t as powerful as I’d have liked).
