4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ CBF, 2010.
Pours completely black with a lovely, creamy, beige cappucino head. Aroma is soft and sweet, roasted, chocolate, elegance. But not all that powerful. Low carbonation, utterly amazing dry and creamy mouthfeel. So velvety... Flavour has roasted malts, light liqourice, chocolate, some milky notes. Long, lingering, bitter aftertaste with chocolate and coffee. Really delicious, elegant and very bitter. Yum (sadly the aroma isn’t as powerful as I’d have liked).

Velvety and round stout with liquorice and coffee. If you want to sample the Mikkeller quality while avoiding their most extreme stuff, this is it.
