Pour hazy light brown, with a small off-white head. Aroma of brett, slight vinegar, barnyard and some berries. The taste is pretty darn sour, with faint fruity - sweet hints. Average body with a rather fizzy carbonation. Sure tastes good.

Bouteille verte de 1.5 l partagée lors d’une dégustation Ratebeer Montréal. Apparence: Odeur de brett et de fruité. Saveur: La couleur est ambrée opaque. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’oranges et de brett avec une pointe d’épices. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement minérale. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de fruits acides en arrière goût. (Rating #4682)

Big berry sour taste, cherry, wood, carbonation right there. Good aroma though funky and wild. Bar Volo bottle tasting.

Thank you to BelgBeerGeek for this one. 1500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Pours reddish/pinkish/brown with a tan head. Smell is tart sour fruit. Taste is some malt sweetness, sour tart fruit, lactic acid and a dry finish. Active carbonation medium body. I liked this one more than I thought I would.

RBBWG12 smell is sour, but not extreme. very big foam, taste is sharp, sour No real aftertaste . some dryness

Little cloudy orange beer, big creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, bit cheesy, lemons, oranges, candy, bubble gum. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sour, tobacco, earthy, lemony, bit fruity, molded cork, bit cheesy. Aftertaste: little bitter, swimming pool, mildew, lemony, soft sourness. Not a bad sour, but not "clean" enough either to be really great.

Slightly hazy light amber colour, white head. Aroma of candy, sweets, light brett, caramel, malts, berries, light sour note. The brett picks up as it warms a bit. Quite sweet flavour, light sour, tart, light astringent. Sour berry finish, sour, light astringent.
Nice, especially when it gets a little time to breathe. I quite like this!

1.5L magnum sample @ RBBWG 2013, courtesy of BelgBeerGeek. Bottle 279/550. Cuivrée, col beige moyen. Profile reste agréablement bretty (quoique un peu léger) avec cet ajout fruité/baies de canneberge. Palais ici aussi de brett assez léger sans vraiment emmener cette bière dans le ring des bières aigres et ce fruité canneberge typique. Pointe de malté, grillé avec ce côté champenois-brett venant de la levure

Thx. to BelgBeerGeek for this one. 1500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Bottle nr. 279/550. Quite a lovely massive bottle to behold, beautiful design, sadly the was does look a bit flimsy. Pours non-transparent orange as in oranges with a solid white head. Nose carries a blend of fruitiness, berries, touch oranges and marmalade blended with clearly present, brett and define sourness but not harsh. Tastes a bit fruity & sweet upfront, oranges, berries, brett, marmalade, spices, vinegar notes, light candy, very light earthiness, hint mustiness,… seems to have mellowed out a bit in a lost some of its power kind of way but still quite fine. Bit on the flatter side. Initially a light disappointment because I had quite high expectations for this one but this is quite enjoyable and easy to drink. Charming. Happy Birthday to Stella I figure.

A hazed reddish brown ale with a thick frothy mocha head. In aroma, smooth Brett with pepper notes, musty and good. In mouth, a nice gueuze like musty ale with Brett, lactic notes, very nice. Tasted Dec. 15 2012.
