2013-09-14. Hazy dark amber orange body with a small frothy off-white head. 3+ Aroma is interesting. Lightly funky with a vaguely floral quality, mild lemon and barnyard. 7+ Flavour is refreshingly sour up front which grows as you go, muted doughy pale malt notes, light hints at red peppers in the finish, lingering sourness. 7+ Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Enjoyable. Bottle at Volo Funk Night 2013, Toronto

Beautiful, crisp bretta smell. Same crisp onion taste as 3 Fonteinen Armand and Tommy but lighter. Has a cloudy orange pour with good head and lacing. Finishes sour and bitter in good proportion. Some tangerine in aroma as well. Generally awesome. Bottle at Volo for Zwanze Day.

1. 5 L bottle Thanks to Bluebetty for opening Muddy orange brown color, thin white head that falls to a collar. Nose is toffee, lemon, orange, spice and some grapes. Very soft at first but nose did pick up. Taste was grapes, berry, vinegar, and soft acid. Not overwhelming or interesting. Did improve as it opened up more. Needed more carbonation I thought. Not much to this really

Magnum bottle kindly saved and shared by gunnar. Pours a muddy brown body with a big bubbled light rim. Inviting toffee, pickled berries and barrel notes on the nose. Grapefruit acidic and bitter, raisin sweet ending with corn flakes. Medium bodied and a light doughy texture. An absolute delight to drink. My rating number 2000.

Green magnum bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. Amber to orange colour, large off-white head. The lovely aroma has distinct and strong notes of brettanomyces and farmhouse kitchen, also lemons and cranberry juice. The flavour has the same elements, a tad too lemony for my taste, but still good.

Pour hazy light brown, with a small off-white head. Aroma of brett, slight vinegar, barnyard and some berries. The taste is pretty darn sour, with faint fruity - sweet hints. Average body with a rather fizzy carbonation. Sure tastes good.
