Bottle (33 cl) from Kihosk, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear ruby, large pink head. Piney and citrusy hops dominate the aroma, beneath that there are some peppery and fruity yeast notes. Light to medium bitterness. Dry with strong and slightly salty bitterness.

Bottle at base camp, Utrecht, during a breakfast beer session of pre-Borefts fun. Pours clear red with a frothy, light pink head. Dry, dusty yeast on the nose, some straw, subtle fruits, maybe berries. Light sweet flavor, pretty dry and bitter, with some earth and grape skins. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with bitter fruits, pits, grass. Oddly bitter. Some dirt. Not great. Lacks flavor and character in general

33cl bottle from Papsoe. Nice dark rose/red color with thin head. Bitterness is high. Also some sourness and bitterness. Carbonation is medium to high. Aroma is fruity, raspberry, light hop and light cereal.

Pours a hazy pinkish purple with a pinkish white frothy head. Aroma of sweet fruits like raspberries and cherries, burst of citrus piney hops, floral notes and some malts. Taste is sweet/sour raspberries actually almost spicy like finishes semi dry with some astringent bitterness. Nice twist on this saison.

Pours a hazy copper/red/pinkish with moderate white/faint pink head that leaves good lace. Aroma is fruity, citrus, pine, floral, and lightly malty. Flavour is resin, zesty citrus, lightly tart fruit, moderate bitterness, and spicy yeast. Interesting brew but regardless refreshing on a warm day!

slight pink coloured head that disappears quite fast, foamhead and lacing. ruby-red raspberry colour and a bit turbid. aroma that reminds of red fruits like raspberry and cherry, also some soft sulfur smell like in garlic. slight fruity taste of raspberry, cherry and some bitterness followed by a long bitter finish that ends with a slight sweet note. thin body and medium carbonation. according to the label this one is made with the fruit and flower of elderberries, which i never had before in a beer. not a bad saison, but not spectacular either. bottle 33 cl @ baden baden / best before 11-06-13

Bottle from Kihoshk, Copenhagen. Pours dark ruby with a huge creamy white/pinkish head. Aroma of dark red ripe fruits, brett. Taste is light sweet red berries, turns a bit bitter at final, nice enough.

Pours reddish copper with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, elderberries, green herbal notes and light flower. Flavour follows the nose.

Bottle from Salling, Aarhus. Pours deep red with a light pink head. Aroma is very fruity berries. Taste is fruit, berries, hops and a note of citrus. Long fruity bitter finish.

Bottle from Bierkompass, bought in March 2013. Hazy reddish with a small head. Aroma and taste of berries, some yeast, citrus and some light spices. Refreshing with a dry finish.
