12.7oz bottle, thanks to tmoney99 for sharing. Totally hazy darker amber color. Minimal head. Nuttiness, toast up front in the nose, and some kind of fruitiness, apricot I think. A lot of caramel in the flavor, very mild spice. Medium-plus body. Lightly slick. Very light carbonation. Like the other Foret I tried, this hides the alcohol astonishingly well -- probably the best part of the beer. Bigger sweet taste, not cloying. Mild bitter. Impressively light warmth to it, with small sips. A nice one to sip on slowly, overall.

Pours deep amber into a tulip. White head quickly recedes to skim surface. Sweet caramel and oak aromas. Thick with toffee soaked bread, roasted nuts and hot caramel upfront turning to mildly bitter earth in the sugar and alcohol head rush finish.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
37.5cl bottle pours with a nearly clear deep copper body that has amber hues and supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up big malt sweetness, some molasses covered sweet dark fruity esters, a bit of honey and then more nectar sweet maltiness. The taste is sweet, rich, nectar like and nearly intense as it seems almost mead like in its richness. Yum, what a great sipper. I get nectar sweet malts, rich honey mead like goodness, concentrated plum juice and sweet brown sugar dusted dates. Wow. Very nice sipper. I’ll sip on this any time.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. slightly cloudy yellow with a little bit of particles. small offwhite head. aroma of booze and malts, toasted malts, faint caramel. aroma comes off as slighlty phenolic. Flavor is malty, faint caramel, booze, phenolic note to it, faint flowery, not much wood, but there is some kind of woddy bitterness to the beer, that is in fact pretty strong, just not easy to recognize as what it is.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is full of sugar and coffee with a slightly note of chocolate. The nostrils are burning thanks to the high alcohol percentage. The color is beautiful amber orange and it is clear that this beer is not filtrated. I like that! The taste is sweet and slightly bitter thanks to the coffee taste. There is no doubt that there is a lot of alcohol since my tongue gets numb after the liquid gets swallowed. The finish is long and alcoholic. I actually don’t mind at all since it tastes so good. An excellent beer!

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. The aroma has oak, white wine, caramel, some fruitiness. Clear, copper-amber coloured with not much, white head. The taste is medium sweet, has quite some oak, white wine, hint of wine sourness. Complex. Good, but just a bit too much oak. Would be pretty fantastic if it went out of the barrels a bit earlier.
