Tap at Mikkeller Viktoriagade, 02/03/14. Hazed orange amber with reddish hues topped with a moderate off white head that quickly dissipates to edgeing. Nose is tarte fruits, caramel, grape skins, light booze, horse blanket, bretty pangs. Taste comprises jammy berry fruits, nice brett infusion, tarte, musty pangs, dank wood, BA effect evident, funky tarte fruit licks. Medium + bodiment, fine carbonation, drying close laced with tarte fruit notes. Solid stuff, good balance, plenty of depth.

Bottle consumed in Croydonia. It pours clear amber with a pretty large off-white head. The nose is woody, funk, brett, doughy aspect, leather, vinous and some soft fruits. The taste is funky, barnyard, doughy, white wine, wood, earthy brett, touch of acidity, some bitterness and dried berries. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Rather well balanced and drinkable. Tasted at the Triple Rock Sour and Barrel Aged Fest on 2/10/2013.This wild ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, oak and chardonnay grapes. A medium bodied sour ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy, A lot more woody and funky than the sauterne edition. Some grape tannins and oak. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly funky.
