Draught at Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen
Hazy dark amber color with creamy head. Pedantic Bretty aroma, with some rubber. The body is quite strong, there is still some minimal residual sweetness; it has some Brett character, evident astringency, white grapes, a bit of vinous impression, tannins. Correct bitterness.
Good but messy.

Appearance: Hazy amber color with a frothy tan head that leaves a ok lacing.
Aroma: Sour and funky.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sour/acidic and a balanced bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild sour and balanced acidic. Brett, fruity and some oak. Dangerously well masked alcohol.
Overall impression: Tasty and lovely with some cheese.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Gunnar.

Almost clear deep amber beer with a big off white head. Palate is light, airy and slightly dry. Mild sourness - not overdone. Mild dry wood. Lovely tangy white wine complements the sourness very well. Touch of brett and seltzer minerals before the dry finish. Well joined up and tasty.

I had this in the dark on a porch in Kansas City Missouri so I have no clue what color it was. The thing I enjoyed most was the choice of barrel. Pear, apple, oak, a touch of booziness and a low carbonation suiting an almost wine like character. Very funky and complex, would love to have again.

Pours amber with a quickly fading head. Nose shows horsey brett notes, sherbert, woody oak, soft white wine and elderflower. Enticing! Flavours include more funky Brett, elderflower, pear/apple wine notes, woody oak, sweet malt and sherbert. Very interesting stuff. Carbonation could be higher to suit the flavours.

Tap at mikkeller bar. Hazy reddish brown color, some white head. Aroma is fantastic, like cider, earth, stables, apples, sour notes. Taste is mixed beer and cider, sour apple notes, malty body, some hops. Nice and different.

Bottle from Binnys South Loop (Chicago, IL). Finally decided to crack this set. Pours a similiar deeper orange amber hue, a gentle haziness but healthy deep summer sunset orange once again rues the day. A small frothy offwhite head sits atop as a mellow layer, dying to a small film and lacing small. Aromas show a bit more life here, white wine barrel gives a decent complexity of fruit, white grape meets a touch of tangerine, firmer melon. Some sweeter estery fruit elements scoot in with touches of biscuit and doughy bread. Mellow stone and dark fruit, gentle bretty funk inch it’s way in. Touches of oak. The nose really offers some good elements here. Initial is a bit more of the same from the base offering, a bit sweeter, caramel and bready malts mix liberally, hitting the fruit notes and shaking things up. A bit more sour off the bat than the original, some gentle almost lactic acidity, fruity esters. Some richer oak, vanilla. Funky cobwebs. Middle hits those flashes of vinous and oak mixing, some red and dark fruit, decent sourness comes along. White grape, cherry, and some decent oak presence keeps pushing. The beer is sweet but the barrel and apparently some more wild yeast influence has helped tame it a bit more. Backend is starts to show more bretty funk, bandaid, lingering sweetness. This isn’t bad and certainly has some strong elements (Nose, front). An improvement over the base for me.
