37.5 cl bottle @ home. Pours amber with an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is caramel, brett, white wine, and fruit. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a smooth and dry finish. ABV is impressively well hidden.

Bottle generously shared by Sparky. Burnt tangerine pour with an eggshell cap. Orange peel and grapefruit pith along with tart lemon, vinegar notes, sweaty laundry, dust, and wood. The Chardonnay accentuates the beer better than the other barrel. Still, not a favorite.

mcberko (8699) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark copper orange with a medium beige head. Aroma is fairly subtle, with light notes of white wine, some wild yeast notes, and a bit of farmhouse. Flavour is much more vinous than the nose suggests, with prominent white wine upfront, followed by medium brett and farmhouse notes. While dominant on the white wine, it never becomes overbearing on the palate and remains highly drinkable with absolutely no notice of the 9+% ABV. Excellent stuff.

Tap at The Mikkeller Bar. Poured a hazy light red, rather like a rose wine. The aroma rich and fruity, leading to a slightly sour, yeasty, oaky flavour with the obvious Chardonnay too. Very tasty and a perfect beer for wine drinkers!
