Bottle. The nose is caramel and bubble gum. The pour is a deep amber brown with a thin head. The taste is damp basement, candy sugar, and wet hay. All well balanced and great. Its not overly sour but just sour enough. Nice mid weight palette with light carb.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerproject (119) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Aroma has notes of caramel, woody wine and barnyard brett, extremely unique aroma. Taste is balanced bitter up front, with a touch of lactic sour, some barnyard brett, pepper notes. The finish is a bit sweet with oak and wine notes and a touch of that boozy caramel that’s inevitable in a beer above 9%.

11.2oz bottle code 8071103 @ 45º into 14.7oz Zwiesel cognac snifter; swampy leather-coffee bean body beneath a quickly fading bone white head; sweet, very mildly sour, and dusty characteristics of fig, mocha, lemon, barn wood, and cheese finishing with creamy oak and tartness; definitely funky and somewhat unique

Bottle from App. Vintner - pours cloudy amber with fluffy white head. Aroma is funky wheat with some spiciness. Taste is bitter with some sweetness on the finish. Overall, nice! I can’t believe it’s over 9%!

Share with Bish and Danny. I really enjoyed it, hides the alcohol well. Like me on the way back from Cott.

Smooth, easy, gentle, never 9.38%, never. Not sour, but quite delicious. Was hoping for a little tart but I always am.

Tap at Brewdog Brum. Nope, did not really get this one. Essence of arrowroot biscuit, flat like compressed cardboard packaging. I must be going mad. Sour? Huh? Did not taste strong neither.
