Pours a deep golden copper color with a two finger sticky eggshell foam... Aromas are funky barnyard brett, touch phenolic and some vinous fruit notes as well. On the palate its rustic barnyard notes with a touch of acidity and a smooth full background of honey malts and touches of bitterness. Im still getting traces of subtle phenols thats keeping me from loving this but its still enjoyable.

Pours murky caramel with a medium frothy tan head. Aromas of sour apple, apricot, sweet wine, raisins, cinnamon. Somewhat like cold apple pie marinated in sweet wine actually. Taste is apple, apricot, raisins, cinnamon, sweet wine, spices. Mouthfeel is somewhat smooth and luxurious with a nice crispiness to it as well. Not bad at all.

@ Basunen: ganska trevlig syrlig doft. Tyvärr lever inte smaken riktigt upp. Ganska lätt, smått syrlig men annars inget. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Bottle. Hazy reddish amber body with white head. Aroma is wood, red wine with some bretts. Taste some sourness with fruity sweetness and red wine. Aftertaste is fruity with bitterness and some red wine. Nice one.

Det här var en riktigt fin öl med en fin och kraftfull smak som bar toner av karamell, torkad frukt och syra. Kroppen var stabil och balansen var finjusterad.

Pours hazy amber with a largs off-white head with nice lacings. Aroma with brett, barnyard white grapes, wood and spicy notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and tart with bitter notes. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and flat carbonation. A very nice Sour indeed.

Bottled from biernavigatie.nl for the insane price of 15 euro’s a bottle. Dark orange colored, off-white head. Very sweet nose, definitely Sauternes, orange, just a little bit of brett shining through. Again sweet flavor, but the bitterness of the base beer is struggling to get through, resulting in some weird intermediate dryness, after which both Sauternes sweetness and beer bitterness go their own way. I just love both Sauternes wine and Mikkeller’s sours, but the combination just doesn’t add up. Still, i considered it to be good enough to finish the bottle.

Woody and mildly sweet aroma. Nice funk on the taste without being too tart. Very interesting and glad to try but won't have again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a quite clear copper with a thin off white head. Aroma is funky, wood, citrus, grapes, fruity esters and some sweetness. Flavour is grapes, funky wood, oak, faint alcohol, mild sweetness, and kinda yeasty/bready. Really smooth for a funky high abv beer!
