Bottle. Pours hazy copper with almost no head. Aroma is candy sugar and rotten fruit. Taste is burnt caramel, apples and a touch of citrus. Palate is full and smooth. Very complex beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A hazy amberorange pour with a white head. Taste is a bit sweet with a light fruity tart...grass, pine, yeast, spices and a bit of caramel. Nice one!

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber, with a large off-white head, which lasts very well and leaves good lacing. Funky, sour notes mix with a little charry, roasty malt in the aroma. Funky sourdough up front leads into nutty, roasty malt in the mid-palate. A sour, fruity finish is tempered by some slight malt sweetness. This is a very balanced sour ale, with a strong malty backbone providing support to its sourness.

Pours a rosey amber, with little to no head. Smells very bretty and funky, sweaty, some raisins and stone fruit. Tastes.. Rich fruits, sweet malts, some yeast Brett, but nothing like what the aroma suggests, some booze and bitterness.

Pours dark amber with a beige head. Aroma of faint vanilla, dark sweet fruits, dry brett, caramel, ripe plums and some tartness in the back. Very nice balance between the sweeter belgian stuff and the wild yeasty stuff. Taste is quite dry with some toffee notes, brett, ripe berries (red currants), weak resin, ripe plums and some dryness and weak alcohol in the end. Very nice!

Bottle. Hazy amber pour, with an off-white head. Sweet malts, fruit, light acidic vinegar, banana, apple, yeast, leather, and brett. Not that sour. Overall not great, but still enjoyable.

Cunningham (3039) - Halden, NORWAY - MAR 17, 2013

Appearance: Hazy copper color with a big frothy white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Acidic fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a finee bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild hoppy and fruity together with a pleasant fresh acidic sourness.
Overall impression: Lovely nice beer together with some cheese. Wonder how they can be so sure about 9.39%......
Personal stats: Bottle from Vinmonopolet Oslo - Vika in Oslo, Norway.

I liked this beer for something different. Thought I was getting something a little more sour but it turned out to be something really funky with ripe sweet banana rasin and slightly muddy earthy flavours. Enjoyable. Great label suits the beer.
