Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy amber color witha small off white head. The aroma and flavor have decent funk, brett character, some fruits (apple, pear), caramel, lightly toasted bread with moderate sweetness. The finish is on the dry side which was expected due to the Brett. Decent.

Bottle - 9.39%. Very striking aroma reminded me of Soy sauce, great taste found myself savouring the last few mouthfuls

A nice sour ale from one of the globe’s most adventurous brewers. Inconsistent they may be, but never dull. Cloudy bronze with a generous head. Inviting aroma of sour cherries, pineapple, brett and wheat-sheaf. Fizzy palate, thin to medium body. Big burst of flavour up-front but it falls away a little in the mid-palate. Fairly sweet but balanced by some mouth-watering fruity acids. Spicy finish and some alcoholic warmth. Perhaps a bit too high in alcohol for the style but overall a very decent package. Not a million miles from Orval with its herbal overtones. (330ml bottle from Leura Cellars. BB 14/3/18)

Middel kulsyreindhold. Lang eftersmag. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Binnys South Loop (Chicago, IL). Finally decided to crack this set. Pours a nice orange amber hue, gentle haziness but a healthy glow throughout is darker, orange and a touch burnt. Some frothy tannish head atop dies to a filmy layer, sticks around small and laces small. Aromas show a bit of sweetness, bready and biscuity malts, touches of fruit intermix with some gentle bretty yeast, cobwebs, touches of straw intermix. Some basement, apple and pear, caramel. Mellow funk side of things, a touch of grass. Initial mirrors the taste a bit, showing a bigger deal of sweetness than I’d prefer. A medium body with some stickiness kicking it up just a bit. Caramel, apples, pear, and gentle gumball up front. Middle shows some sustained sweeter and fruit driven character. A bit of citrus, firm estery elements move in as we keep pressing. A bit more brett character shows as we round the corner, some dryness, funk, and cobwebs element. A touch of pineapple, mellow citrus as what I can only assume is a bit of sourness hits. Finish doesn’t sustain that element though, a lot of fruit and some firmer brett finishes this bad boy out, trying it’s best to get away from that sweet, cumbersome front end and finish. Meh. I have higher hopes for the barrel versions.. this wasn’t quite what I was looking for. Not bad, just not quite as expected.

Tap at Mikkeller. Orange-amber, flat. Crackery malt, salt, orange, peach. Sweet fruits, gumball, candy, biscuits and peach. Sweet andnmalty, with nice bretty edge, and some hops. Light carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a large off-white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma is oranges, caramel, raisins, barn and spices. Taste is sweet, quite spicy, some barn, oranges, alcohol, brett and medium bitter. Medium body and the carbonation is a bit too high. Nice, but a bit too sweet and alcoholic for me.
